I'm in this week. It's been at least 12 months since I posted and then it was normally sporadically....this year is going to be the year we sort out this house. Dd room has been decorated and it's lovely. I want it to stay lovely and for the rest of the house to be sorted as well!

Monday - children's rooms, spare rooms or any bedroom
    Only got 15 minutes...
Tidy up and find a home for all those things sitting about
    Hoover
    30 minutes to spare....
    Change a bed or two
Sort through socks, underwear and tshirts and get rid of any which are too small or too tatty
    Got an hour....
    Wipe the window ledges
    Shine a mirror or window
    Extras
HHI - especially if you are on the ironing challenge
    Meal plan for the week
Wash PE kits and uniform now to avoid a last minute rush
    Bank account sort out.
    Email deleting session!

I have a week off work. I swear I will post updates!!
Off to teach DD to make French toast now!

Wendywitch and Jo lovely to have you both back.

Sorted out a pile of shoes in the garage which don't fit anybody, CS bag filling up nicely atm.

    Condensation dealt with.

    WM1 on the maiden.

Off to do DS3's room with him first (he wants a friend round so should be focused).

HI to all and welcome to newbies. I'm not raising hopes but doctor pleased with Mr Narc0's progress and just awaiting one more blood test, so he may be home today. I'm just flying round with hoover and bin bag trying not to think of it in case hope dashed again.
    - DW on
    - birds fed
    - horse half sorted - will finish later when waiting for vet
    - currently oscillating between kitchen and lounge collecting debris
    - about to vacuum or does that need a coffee?

Hope all workers have a good day. I've got a report to write and one to check but don't think it will be today. Ditto gym.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
  • still at m&d's, travelling back later on today, so will start lists with vengeance tomorrow :D still on track for ironing challenge and I'll make sure all the shirts and uniform are clean tomorrow so I'm not cheating by having it all in the washing basket :rotfl:

hello to newbies and returners, just try and work out what your dailies are and try to manage one or two things off the lists. Dailies are a big enough challenge for me most of the week!

Well I can see a corner of my BR floor by the side of my bed but I can only see half of my bed. However this must be progress providing none of it goes back!

    Fingers crossed narco

    Morning all :D

Get well vibes to those who are poorly.

Can I join the pledge to have an empty ironing basket please? :D DD gets home tomorrow so I'll have all her stuff to get sorted but I'm determined to do it ;)

I'm back at work today, but fortunately its all work at home as I'm full of cold. :( DD is home tomorrow, so I want to get all my work done today so we can spend some time together as she's been away for nearly a week and between the Friday when she broke up and the Wednesday she went away we didn't stop rushing about from one thing to another :(

So for me todays list looks like this:

    Work:
    Sort through supplies for work.
Go through stock and price up to see if its worth keeping or not.
    Prepare newsletter
Prepare books to go out on 5th Jan
Sort through work cupboard and purge what I can.

    Personal:
    Update finances
    Mr A list
    Finish book
    Inventory of food
Marzipan Christmas cake (yes I still haven't done it :rotfl: Didn't seem any point since we haven't had our Christmas Dinner yet :o)
Write "to bake" list so DD and I can make goodies for her packed lunch
    Finish updating my diary

Monday - children's room Mainly being left until DD is home :p

Time to get on with jobs. First thing, that auction site to see if this stuff is worth listing on there or not while I put some trashy TV on

Thanks for getting me back to basics. Have spent last hour in bedroom emptying bags of clutter, sorting drawers and cleaning surfaces. Will take a break now but very pleased with progress so far.

Right, I have cleaned the doors, hoovered up the dog hairs behind the furniture, and a quick hoover downstairs. Polished all mirrors and some other bits in the house. Walked the dogs. Been to hospital and had breakfast with DD. Nothing much happening at the paid stuff. Second of two washloads now in the machine.

As DD is here, I'm planning to do relaxing things for the rest of the day.
Spend less now, work less later.

Hmm. I was sure I posted earlier, saying thanks and that I was in. But I can't find it now

Anyway. Much picking up of stuff and a bit more laundry done. Kids are driving me distracted. Nattering about lunch. Which I've made. And they've just left it. I'm not making any more :(

Going to dry my hair then find some more stuff to move.

Welcome new and returning flyladies x

Oh, made a cloak for the Elsa doll as it didn't have one

Kitchen Done! (Before I checked the list, and floor not done yet as everyone decided to get up and make breakfast:p) Two loads of laundry also done. I have one more to do, to make sure all Ds2's stuff is clean and dry ready for him to leave on Wednesday.

Just waiting for DS2 to leave, he's off to pitch to a boutique, then to see a friend, then, I shall pop to Sainsbury for a few bits.

I need to go to our newest cinema as well, as DS1 bought me membership, and I can't work out in the website how to book my two free tickets and also a discount for the other two. I'm sure there must be a way of registering your membership number, but it is far from obvious.

DS2 has persuaded me to buy a new pair of trainers this morning, as encouragement to stick to my planned New Year exercise and fitness routine. :D

Welcome! :hello: to all the newbies and returners. Definitely baby steps is the way to go. Looking at my house right this minute, I'd suggest putting on some music, and running round each room with a dustbin bag removing all the rubbish first. Then have a coffee, and come on here and tell us all!
