Morning all


I'm at work this morning but only briefly, will be back for half 11, so will try and attempt to do everything on todays list, apart from underwear draw (was done before I went away last October) and under bed (too scary to tackle today I fear).

Much merriment has been had and now its back to earth with a bump. I seem to have spent 5 days eating rubbish, sleeping, tidying and doing washing, im exhausted lol back to normal now though thank goodness, I love Christmas but im always glad its over, its a huge amount of work and stress especially for us ladies.

Work this morning then I really need to crack on with some bills/paperwork/phone call frogs, because theyre in my head and stressing me out which means im not sleeping /eating properly.

Welcome Beki - a Toots master list is personnal to you, a list of all those things you would like to get done in your house from painting over a chip in the skirting board to insulating the loft, sorting out a cupboard, hanging a picture etc. It is upto you how long you would like it to be, 10 items to do in the next month or 200 to do in the next 2 years, however you prefer to work.

All mogs have been fed, kittens are very busy this morning, big cats have gone out.

DH has gone to work, boys all still asleep so I'm off for a shower and a S&S before they get up. Need to pop to Mr L today but will wait until it is a bit less frosty.

Hello to the newbies, it was not so long ago I was a newbie and these peeps on here have inspired me to keep going and I am seeing the benefits.

Monday - children's rooms, spare rooms or any bedroom
[STRIKE]
Tidy up and find a home for all those things sitting about[/STRIKE] Done
[STRIKE]Hoover [/STRIKE] Done
Change bed - this will be done on Wednesday, my only superstition, new sheets for the new year
[STRIKE]Sort through socks, underwear and tshirts and get rid of any which are too small or too tatty I tend to do this as I wash, but will have another check of my tshirts[/STRIKE] Done, all okay
Wipe the window ledges
Shine a mirror or window
[STRIKE]
Go to B&Q, Homebase etc etc to look for wallpaper for our bedroom[/STRIKE] Done now decided curtains are not right
Check new curtains bought in the sale are the right size for bedroom Package up to return to John Lewis, see above
[STRIKE]Return shirt to Next, too big for DS sale purchase. Find replacement as needed for Wednesday 50th Birthday/NY Party[/STRIKE] DS has decided it is ok after all
HH Paperwork - mainly filing and shredding
HHI x 2
Write list of objectives for 2015 - things like decorate kitchen and list what will be needed to do so

So glad I am not at work today as no need to scrape the car of ice

Today I want to take my tree and decorations down and give the living room a good vacuum.

Put clean washing away.
S&S kitchen and bathroom.

DD been to doctors and her blood tests have come back ok. Her blood pressure is a bit high though. She is to monitor her blood pressure at home. Has to go back for a EEG. I'm really hoping this is a wake up call for her to look after herself a bit better. Told her I will help anyway I can.

So pleased with my bird feeder. I've seen a robin a few times but also a crow. Need to go out and put fresh water in as its solid with ice.

Right I'm back . . . again Things are going to be different this new year!
If any of you guys "see" me on f@ceb00k and not on here tell me off!!

We're supposed to be going to DD1's boyfriend's sister's house to collect Christmas presents but I've not heard from DD1 yet. She's at the boyfriend's and I had a text saying they didn't get in 'til 1.30 this morning.
DD2 is still in bed, I was woken by the cats at 7 so currently drinking coffee to keep awake, I'm tired all the time
Washing on airer folded
Another load in the WM
Cat litter trays scrubbed and filled

I shall be writing a TOOT's list over the next few days as I've never really done one.

Thanks for the new thread the days are merging somewhat and I'd sort of lost track. Ds1 did go back to work this morning and I did remember to do him pack up.
Not really no list till Dh goes back to work as we know most days family will base visiting in various forms and all back for New Years day dinner, lol it's like a rerun of Christmas day here. Not planned New Years eve yet think it will be me and Dh snuggled on sofa with which ever kids don't have a party or better offer to attend.
Plan today is to make a start on watching 24 which I got Dh for Crimbo and also do some stitching. Need also to plan next years crafting as I want to make as many gifts as I can.
