We found it! At 8.30 tonight between two magazines that were on the top shelf.
    So relieved.
Thanks for all the positive vibes etc and info.

Think stressed exhaustion was how I felt yesterday. One thing really really got to me was the amount of stuff we have everywhere. While we were going through every drawer, cupboard and shelf I realised we are full of junk!
Some major decluttering, and space reassigning needs to be done when we get home.
At least I now can concerntrate on finishing off some loose ends at work, and be able to relax more.
There are not very many jobs booked in now. I can see them being easily finished by the weekend. I think my reception lady was turning jobs down yesterday. I will have to see if she can accept a few smaller jobs as if the zips arrive today for the jobs outstanding, I will be clear by The end of tomorrow. But I can see why she is saying not until after the holidays to people.
I feel very strange that bar the five bridesmaids dresses that we have in for the week we return, there is little on the rail. About 6 items I think.
I do have roman blinds and two giant cushions to make aswell.
I have to go in today, as the courier is collecting our suitcases today, but the time slot is between 9am and 6pm at work. So DGD and I have to go in for at least part of the day. I have a dress fitting at just after 10 this morning, so I need to be there then. Then we can go, but if the bags not collected before 1pm we will need to go back, as staff go home at 1pm, early closing day.
If the weather holds, I need to go and cut my Mum's lawn for her. Move the post etc.
It would be better to get it done today, rather then have to go after work tomorrow or Friday.

On the plus side, while searching for the passport I found several things that I had been looking for and couldn't find. From a pair of DGDs shoes, the tablet computer thing, the charger card, and two metal engraving plates of the area that I have had for years and years, found in an attic somewhere. Before I even knew where Brackley was!

So pleased you found DGDs passport, such a huge relief! Can I ask about the cases going by courier please? Does this work out cheaper than taking them with you on the plane? If so, it sounds like a marvellous idea and one I'd never have thought of myself. To be free of luggage at the airport sounds wonderful :D

Ooh, don't you just love those delightful little coincidences!

I hope you all enjoy your holiday, Mooloo - you've certainly earned it!
Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.

As we hadn't booked suitcases when we booked flights it worked out cheaper.
To Spain 30kg weight limit was £31 or £32 each bag, each way.
We booked in two bags both way, and had their tie labels the bill was £129.99 France was £30 a bag, mum sent hers the other week.

I am still trying to work out the mystery of four sewing related framed prints that I received yesterday. !
There was no note, and no sender information!
So I am non the wiser at the moment, but I am thrilled, as I love them! They will go up the stairs at the shop.
So if you know it was you, Thankyou, Thankyou so much!

I couldn't make that link work, but https://www.sendmybag.com does.

Sadly they don't serve the Canary Islands, but I must remember to check them out if we go anywhere else!
