I make them to order, so they can be made any size.
The circumference of the bag over the lid and handles and under the bottom of the pan, then the diameter of the lid and handles for the covering pad. If it is very big it would mean more fabrics used and may have to have a join in it, but that would stop its function. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Mooloo tax isn't 10% - are you guessing that figure?Snootchie Bootchies!0

No I know tax isn't 10%, it's just a way of putting money away, at the moment. I haven't made a profit so far, as such, and am still not even up to my personal allowance for tax purposes but I have to put away the funds for the wage deductions etc so I put them aside as I go along, and have started to put a bit more away and will increase it as the flow will allow. It's just a start to make sure I have some money start to build up aside from the main account that will eventually earn interest while its there. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

Morning has arrived too fast!
I woke around 2am and 4.15am and took a while to sleep again. Having such weird dreams when I am asleep.
My Dad was in the last one, we were in a garden full of foam from an over flowing washing machine! No garden we have ever had. The next minute I was cleaning tables in a pub. With cigarette ash etc. Now that is a memory I can relate to after all my years running pubs and working in them, I was fanatical about keeping the ashtrays clean as well as polishing the brass tables! But why now? Heaven knows.
Anyway I am awake. I have had my cup of tea, listened to my "attract Luck" tape, and checked my finances and made sure the DDs were covered etc. I have even faffed about on Facebook.
Now I had better get my shower, find some sensible shoes and my Christmas jumper as I am walking the school run and down to work so that I can take the staff for a drink after work for a bit. DGD is going to stop with the nursery supervisor for a bit, at her place for me.
We are doing it tonight as the other seamstress is off to Germany for her holidays this week, so it is the last chance we have of all getting together.
I have invited all those who have worked with me since I opened as without their help I doubt that I would have come this far.
Now this morning I am hoping that I can continue the blinds with a lot less trouble then I had yesterday. The ones I am doing are made of a very loose weave fabric and it is a nightmare.
But onwards and upwards so to speak.
I will not be defeated by them! ( but I am seriously considering not accepting orders anymore as I could have earned a lot more doing trousers in the time it takes!)
Catch up tomorrow probably.
Have a good one peopleWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Having a drink after work is too early in the day.
I had a great laugh with staff old and current but I am tired now. So an early night is called for.
Been a busy day again. Hopefully it will be less tomorrow as it was supposed to be my day off and I have a massage booked. My shoulders really are in knots. However I have to go to work probably before and after. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Morning, I have a lot to do today and not so sure that I will achieve it all.
I have 7 days till DGD goes to her Mum. So I need to make sure that I have all their gifts bought and wrapped soon.
Twin2 can afford the train to come home and so I will have to post her a gift. So that will need to be sorted as well.
My Brother is over from France this week and so I need to pop to see him at my Mums if I can, I have his gift and his partners sorted, but not wrapped.
For DGD do I send her with a small present to open from me, or wait till she comes home to open them all?
I am undecided.
The shop will close on Wednesday at lunchtime till the following Tuesday, so I am aiming to clear the decks before I close but at the amount of jobs coming in, I may not succeed. There has not been a lull in the work coming in yet.
I seem to have a bit of a tummy problem this morning so I wonder if it was the beer I had last night or the sausage and chips from the chippy on the way home.
I have had my morning cuppa, shuffled the money around on line, and checked my email. So it's time to make a move and get DGD up for school.
Then off to work for an hour and a bit too catch up on the third thermal bag this week, and the final one ordered. Then to do as many pairs of trousers hems as I can to get the rails clearer for tomorrow when I will have all day to do the major jobs that are more like rebuilds then repairs!

Thank you! Will be in touch in the new year when you are slightly less busy.0 -

I meant to say that it shouldn't stop the function.
I think that it may take a bit more than 10 minutes to get very big pans upto a rolling boil though!
If you message me the size you need then if it gets quiet then I will be able to slot it in.
I am taking an hour out, to put my feet up. I had a massage this morning and it relaxed me so much it was difficult to get back into the swing of work. Luckily we close at 1pm (-although it was nearer two before we left as we were finishing some jobs.
Hopefully it will pave a smoother path for me tomorrow.
I Collect DGD at 3.15 today.
Her Mum has returned the family agreement to me today, so let's hope that they stick to it.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I find sports ones too painful.
I had a full body massage, so it is just in undies, however it's in a dark room and I am under towels and blankets except for the area being massaged. So the legs then arms get done, then under the blanket I turn onto my front and then my back is done, concentrating on any area I need, like left shoulder and neck usually for me.
It's soothing music and candles so I feel relaxed.
Yesterday I felt so relaxed after it that I didn't want to do anything afterwards!
I was in bed by 7.30 when DGD went to bed and although I woke for the loo twice, I was back to sleep quickly.
For the first time in ages I feel more like getting up then I can remember.
I have a busy day ahead and I am not actually dreading it.
DGD Hausa Christmas party in school today so she can go in party clothes. She has chosen her Minecraft tshirt and jeans!!!
Oh well. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I am tired to the bone!
I worked at a steady plod today. Nets, zips, curtains, trousers, jackets all done. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Just as well as I shall be in the shop on my own all day tomorrow.
So I will be doing little jobs that I have and I will leave the next Roman Blind until Monday. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
