Happy Christmas!!
Thankyou.
I do feel each year is an improvement on the one before!
Let's just hope 2016 is even better!
Been busier today then I expected with several last minute jobs in.
I have just hit that 3.30 wall! Tea and cake time. Still an hour and a half to work. I'm not coming in tomorrow, staff is keeping it open until 1pm then we close till next Tuesday. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
DGD has gone to her Mum's today. I feel very strange knowing she is now away for a week.
I have wrapped all the presents that I have bought. I have delivered DS's and his family, along with a three bird roast, and the veg for their Christmas dinner.
I have delivered the last thermal bag made, and dropped off presents at Biggest of Mooloo's so I don't have to carry them on Christmas Day.
I visited Mum, and I am now back home, to potter, watch TV and have a pamper myself evening. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

This morning was strange waking up without DGD.
I spent the morning preparing the excess food stock so I don't waste anything. But the freezer space is now full.
I froze sliced onions, and courgettes. ( for ratatouille), I've frozen surplus milk. I have made a apple and pear crumble, put tangerine segments in the oven to dry. Made celery soup, and believe it or not I have attempted to can carrots, with the trusty help of my pressure cooker.
A very busy morning clearing out the fridge and cleaning the kitchen.
Sorted out the washing, so it's all up to date,
And tidied up the sitting room.
Tonight I have been invited to a party! Yeah!
Tomorrow I see Biggest of Mooloos and my Mum.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
