Thank you!
I had a really stressed day today and so was glad it was over, but when I looked at the bank account this evening and totter it all up, I felt like dancing a jig as my Granny used to say. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

A day off, for housework etc, but DGD has Brownies at MK Today. So that's half my day gone.
My Sister is in the Uk for a few days and visiting my Mum since yesterday so they need a visit too.
Doesn't look like I will get much work done then!!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I was right yesterday I really didn't get as much done as I would have liked. DGD loved it at Bounce. I went across to primarni and Asda and started my Christmas shopping.
I got a selection of clothes for DGD ready to go to her Mum. Leggings and jeans, long sleeve tshirts and a few jumpers. Makes a change from having second hand clothes.
In Asda I bought a few small presents for the twins, and the three grandchildren born this year.
But I still have a lot to sort.
At work I was all messed about and didn't quite get the sewing sorted out until the afternoon as I was doing accounts and calls.
But by the close of day I was back on track.
This evening DGD is st Brownies. Must go and get her in a minute.
Then an early night would help. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

I ended up watching some catch up tv and didn't get to bed till around 11.
DGD has now developed a cough to go with her cold. So I have a feeling that she may be sent home later today.
I'm going to have to get as much work done as I can as soon as I get to the shop. The background running things will have to wait.
The staff are coming in today, the sewer all day, the reception lady will be doing overtime and coming in this afternoon so I can do the big jobs like the blinds and curtains upstairs.
One of my friends had a mini stroke yesterday and is in the hospital.
Makes you think how much stress we are under these days. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
As predicted DGD was unwell by the time I got to pick her up and this time she really is unwell.
I scraped through the day with some hand sewing, name tapes, sparkles curtain tie backs for a gypsy caravan and a pair of very large curtains had to be hemmed. ( and patched where the dog had eaten them).
Tomorrow is usually my day off to help Mum, but my car has to go in for a service and get my headlights sorted out. DGD will have to stay home with me, although unless the garage can run is home we will have to walk home, which is not brilliant for DGD if she's ill.
I have brought some stuff home to do if I get the opportunity tomorrow but I am not sure how the day will pan out. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
The garage man kindly brought us back home, so now it's cup of tea time before I get on with the housework etc.
My Muscle Food delivery has arrived so I have enough meat to last us till the end of January I think.
Time to keep warm and cozy. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
