I want to stamp my liddle foot and scream noooooooooooooooo, don't leave us Greying! But then the adult in me kicks in and totally understands why you need to take some gardening leave. We will likely all still be here, waiting, waiting, waiting until you return. Take care of yourself and Mr Greying and good luck with the renovations. (((Big hugs)))Busymumofthreeplusdog......

GP, your threads have been a valuable source of menus and interest and I will continue to reference them for advice. Your support has been fantastic - it's almost a year I think since I came to MSE a shadow of the self I am. Thank you for helping me through dark times and of course we understand you are in need of a holiday/break/change. Look forward to passing you on the boards. XxOSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

This is not goodbye, as, even if you don't write another post, you'll still always have a place in my heart.
Good luck to you and Mr Greying, and continue to be grateful for all your blessings xWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Try rice milk instead of soya. It's naturally slightly sweet, and lighter than soya too.
I soak porridge (in rice milk) or muesli (in yogurt) overnight if I'm being organised. It saves decisions in the morning as breakfast is already half done.
Thanks for the tip, but she won't touch anything. Have tried almond, rice, hazelnut, goat... not a blimming prayer. Fussy little monster!! Also, tried her with rice milk early on after weaning off BM and the dietician gave me such a telling off because it has trace amounts of arsenic in it which can build up in babies systems, so you aren't meant to give it to young ones under 4  - they should put it on the packet!!!
:( I caught up the rest now!! I could say a million things Greying... But only a couple of words needed. Thank you.. and I will miss you! xx

Lovely Greying. I wish you and DP so many happy thoughts and hugs, but I feel bereft and sad. Your diary offered me a lifeline when I was in a state of despair. Good luck. I love you and DP. Naomi xxxWith family, friends and pets (or any combination of them) life will be fine!

I just wanted to say good luck with the next stage in your life at Greying Towers. Thanks so much for sharing so much of your daily life, many people will miss you
(me included) but we still have your diary to look back on. I still look up hints and tips on there even though my life seems to be on the gallop at the moment. Gardening leave is good....

I was wondering - and feel free to ignore me - whether a "Smilies Diary" would be worth starting for everyone who posts on this thread.
Not about Smilie but somewhere where you all could continue to post. I know this diary has been a huge help, support and comfort for a lot of people and I think it would be a shame to lose that.
Just an idea0
