Good Morning :hello:
Well, I've already managed to lose a post this morning, due to my stupidity (yet again) so I'm not managing my time very well at all
Anyway, what I wanted to say was that I forgot to mention that when I make the curry^ I don't bother reserving the peach juice. As I get the valoo peaches, they come in syrup. I managed to get through 9 months of pregnancy without getting gestational diabetes, and I don't wish to bring diabetes on myself now, so I pour the liquid away - the curry is *wet* enough without the added juice, if all else fails, and the curry is dry, I would add in a splash of water, but it shouldn't need it. I know there is a place for sweet and fruity curries, but I tend to like the savoury in most foods, so I choose to drain and rinse the peaches before using them. And yes, I realise that there is more to diabetes than just *sugar*, so I'm not trying to be flippant about it, nor too black & white when there are vast areas of grey. I'm just trying to do the little i can in my own sphere of control.
I don't think that I've ever taken health for granted, but I certainly have had my eyes opened as to how imperative it is for me and DH to try our utmost to keep well. I realise that there are many conditions that humans have no bearing over, but we here at Greying Towers must do what we can to keep our health on the *good* side of the scales - all else is out of our control.
We've a list of chores as long as our collective arms to achieve, so how much we will, I don't know. I have a MOV to use at the supermercado, so shopping is on the list. It's quite a good percentage £3 off £20 spend, but how i wish that shopping wasn't an activity we had to bother with............
I've also got to make THAT phonecall. Not easy, as I've got to weave it in to BG's schedule, which takes away more time to achieve what we need to achieve. How I wish I had signed up for that course in military strategy & logistics (advanced mode) now............... *sigh* :rotfl:
Right, best love y'all and leave you and do a bit more

I have enough trouble organising just me GP, so I'm always mightily inpressed with anyone who can organise themselves AND someone else - especially when that someone else is too small or incapable of following instructions!0

Greying Lovely to see " us tea " pictures again . is Saturday still curry night ?
Upsidedown bear I love the smileys but that cat is in a class of its own . Thank you my 2 favourite things cats and books
BTW GP I don't think any of us ever had an instruction manual but we managed . I had 4 small persons and never broke one . They are now in their 30s and 40s so if you go by your instincts and your obvious common sense all should be well .

GP In answer to little peoples ability to break big people yes they can but only if you let them !! That's why parents always look wiped out , you have to be vigilant at all times . Enjoy your day ( make the phone call - you'll feel better when you have )
