Hi there GP  I too miss Piquant. I tried texting her old number a while ago and got a sorry not known response...so maybe she has passed it on, or maybe she is just keeping herself separate. Hope she's OK, either way.
Hope Baby GP and yourself have had a good day xxMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Good Morning :hello:
Thanks Hopefuljoy, brizzle and Pippi for popping in
brizzle, well done you for trying to contact Piquant. We all move on don't we, and I respect her right to privacy - guarding mine fiercely too - but just in case she ever wanders through the boards, then she'll know that she was well-loved and is greatly missed. I'm sure when she left mse she was gearing up for a hectic time, I know Glasto was on the list as well as at least 1 wedding for 1 of her children? (I think...)
Hopefuljoy - i hope the weather improves for your camping!

Nice to see you back Greying - how lovely to have a little one to love and nurture.
Following on from the comments about Piquant - I have just checked and I still have her new address so I will find a lovely card this weekend and send it to her to let her know all her MSE friends are thinking of her.
Will report back if she contacts me.0 -
Thanks Eager_Elephant that is very kind of you
Send her a bucket full of love from me will ya
As much as you can pack in the envelope and still get it sent for the price of a stamp
Haven't really done anything :money: today
But we got out and about in the fresh air, and i spent a little money on groceries, including 3 packs of branded puff pastry for £1 from our local hEr0n f00ds in the precinct. They will come in useful for 'sausage' rolls for picnics
I've got a shed load of admin to do, but don't think that I can keep my eyes open long enough to complete it........... Ho hum.
I went into a CRUK charitee shop today, they do alot of baby stuff. Nothing caught my eye - apart from the eye-watering prices.............. so no purchases made. Will have to look out the local car boots I think - probably a better hunting ground.
We had meditteranean pasta for us tea. Store cupboard stuff; black olives, red peppers, onions, garlic, herbs, capers and some feta in a lemon vinagrette served with cassarecce pasta. Thank goodness for h0me bar-gins...................
Right, I'll sign off before my eyes weld shut. See you on the other side... whenever that may be....................

I'm glad you have a Heron, Greying, I started a Heron Thread for Farmfoods and Heron bargains. I haven't been in mine for a week or two, will have to visit soon and update on that thread.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0

I think I need more coffee or something. I read that as meaning Greying's baby was called Heronmcculloch29 wrote: »I'm glad you have a Heron, Greying,

Good Afternoon.
mcculloch - I know that you started that thread - it has been very useful
Although I get annoyed on your behalf when folk come on to post that they haven't got a hEr0n, or such and such an offer wasn't in their shop....... *sigh* I'm hopeful that they will have more of the gAlbani (sp?) mozarella logs. They last had them around Christmas time. Spiffing for topping a pizza

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Upsidedown Bear - you crack me up! You've revealed my secret of course...... I haven't actually been away from MSE 'Growing a Greying', I just sent off to one of those flora and fauna adoption agencies and the Stork brought me back a ....... heron :rotfl::rotfl:
We had HM pizza with bought oven chips for us tea last night. I had bought some oven chips the other week, as I couldn't get hold of any decent potatoes that didn't require the investment of a small mortgage - mrT I am looking at you
- I bought the 'brand leader' and they were OK - certainly better than i remember oven chips being. So I went to hEr0n foods yesterday, and actually got some potatoes with the intention of doing wedges, but I spotted their own brand ? (mcculloch will put us right) 'Kream of the Krop' (but spelt correctly) oven chips 'chip shop style' 1.5kg for £1. I thought I would give them a punt for that price. I have to say, they were similar in taste to the 'brand leader' and I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. Whilst I like 'whole' foods, I recognise that sometimes convenience is needed, and these were certainly preferable to the chips dished up in our local chippy! The pizza was black olive, I was a bit scant with the cheese, but since we had both respectively had a cheese sanger for snap, I didn't see this as any 'biggy'. The observant amongst you will see that I over cooked the oven chips - we had tried them when they were perfectly done, so would accept that it was my error and nothing to do with the product! It seems i cannot do 97 things at once - 96 I've mastered, but 97 is a stretch too far...... :rotfl:(Greying pulling own leg....)
We watched the footy - first TV I've seen in agggeeeessss. Pity it wasn't a more scintillating match!
We've been out and about today, done a bit of shopping whilst the high st was less busy as the BH means we, like every town/city/village/hamlet have a number of events on that either draw folk in to visit or cause traffic chaos - or as this morning, both..... :rotfl:
Right, best shift a tail-feather, I've a phone call to make now, and it may take some time #contacting family........................

Good Evening :hello:
On the fly, but had Jack Monroe's Peach & Chickpea curry for us tea.
Not enough hours in the day - didn't even get to make phonecall yet.... and I daren't do it now, else I'll still be yapping at midnight
*sigh*
Today I am grateful for;
- DH's help in the kitchen, we'd of been eating PB sandwiches otherwise
- DH's help with shopping, even if calling in on the way home would have saved him heaps of time, rather than having to make a separate journey.... but we got there in the end
- Baby Greying - for reminding us why all this re-education is sooooo worth it
I'm off, gotta do more stuff
