Argos are doing alcatel pop C1 on paygo phone on EE for £19.99 or a Huawei Y330 on EE for £39.99 and you could get one of these while you wait for other problem also which email service do you use on smart phone ie I use gmail on my one

I add all my business emails on my phones (About 5 emails). i need a decent phone as i also use it for business, so those 2 you mention fall short.

I have ordered a iPhone 5c from Giffgaff for £9.11 a month ( this is just for the phone) i will be getting a tescomobile sim for this as i lost faith in EE

So purchased a Xperia E3 on 17th dec that was faulty and shop just gave me sony phone number, then their CS agreed to send me a replacement, which seemed to be in kit form as it had no back cover, then their exec dept sent me a new phone that only charged to 90% and then in standby drained faster than you would drain a tin of fruit. 90% to 0% in just under 3 hrs on standby. and now that say they dont think their is anything wrong with phone
so i took the leap to the dark side and purchased an iPhone 5c which arrived at 11am this morning and took an hr to charge up, i have set it up made calls took pics, vids and even played games and it still shows 65%, so 35% drained in approx. 11 hrs rather than 90% in 3 hrs without being able to do anything is a winner in my book
  • good for you for getting a decent phone in the end also you may want to buy a case or cover for your iphone 5c which ive seen on ebay for 2.99 which includes screen protecter

yes case ordered. not many real cases around for 5c as its got a curved back.

just 100 quid wasted on a faulty phone with EE.

i have even pointed out clauses in SOGA to them and they just seems to ignore these as if they think the law does not apply to them

    action eventually from EE.

had the gut from exec office on the phone and as i have gone elsewhere for a phone, he told me to send back the phone and they will credit me the £100 into my account along with whatever it cost me to post it back, which should see me through my contract with them

    latest email from EE
    Dear Mr ********,

Thank you for your further email received in the Executive Office, I have been asked to respond on behalf of EE.

As requested, should you wish to leave EE, ending your contract early I am able to provide your Porting Authorisation Code (PAC) penalty free.

Should you decide to leave EE and require your PAC, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I trust that the above is of assistance.

    Yours sincerely,

but they are placing £100 in my account + £10 to cover the cost of me returning a faulty phone back to them, which would actually cover my monthly costs to the end of contract, so not sure to take PAC and end contract and then pay for sim only elsewhere or leave it and save myself £11 a month
