That just shows how wrong your information is .
0% can potentially kill the battery in that it fails to recharge .
well i have had this information from Samsung, Sony, Nokia, s i have had many mobile phones over the years and have never had charging battery issues until i purchased this sony from EE.
My Blackberry Z10 used to last nearly 3 days before charging and that was with heavy usage, but it seems CPW are no longer authorised to repair Blackberrys and BB dont seem to reply to support requests now, this is why i decided to change my phone0 -

well since more than 1 manufacturer gives the same info i would be inclined to believe them than anyone one a public forum0 -
No comment apart from my information from battery experts was given freely .
[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Prevent over-discharging. Cell reversal can cause an electrical short.

Old NiMH and NiCd batteries had a “memory effect” and had to be completely discharged from 100% to 0% to keep their capacity. Modern devices use Lithium Ion batteries, which work differently and have no memory effect. In fact, completely discharging a Li-ion battery is bad for it. You should try to perform shallow discharges — discharge the battery to something like 40-70% before recharging it, for example. Try to never let your battery go below 20% except in rare circumstances.
A bunch of tiny charges throughout the day is your second best bet, and going from zero to 100 and then 100 to zero on a regular basis will put the most strain on your lithium-ion battery.0 -

well since first replacement come incomplete and then the second replacement also seems faulty then i don't want another replacement as its clear they a re providing faulty goods and in the response i got today they seems to think it is OK to do this.Dear Mr **********,
Thank you for your further emails received in the Executive Office, I have been asked to respond on behalf of EE. I have taken the opportunity to respond in writing.
Again, please accept my apologies for the delay in responding. Whilst I appreciate the delay in responding to you has been frustrating, the Executive Office is responsible for a variety of work practices and as such is not the quickest route to resolving an issue.
I have fully acknowledged your comments relating to the battery life of your handset yet the battery life can vary due to a high number of variables. The battery times suggested by the device manufacturer can often be misleading and based on a device being used effectively in an offline mode. In reality, there are a number of factors that can reduce battery life performance. After extensive testing, it has been found that users with similar usage levels to your own will receive approximately 12 hours between charges.
I am sorry that you feel that your handset is experiencing further issues, but given the information you have provided within your previous emails, I am unable to confirm that your handset is faulty. As I have previously provided you with a brand new replacement and the symptoms explained are consistent, I feel this is the standard performance of your current handset.
Whilst I understand this is not the outcome you were looking for, I trust I have clarified EE's position regarding this matter.
I am now out of the office until 12:00 30 December 2014, should you wish to discus the above further, please contact our Customer Service Team on 150 for further information.
I trust the above information is of assistance to you.
Yours sincerely,
Graham Gargett

Reading SOGA
Under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
Fit for purpose means both their everyday purpose, and also any specific purpose that you agreed with the seller (for example, if you specifically asked for a printer that would be compatible with your computer)
Goods sold must also match any sample you were shown in-store, or any description in a brochure.
and what they say about the phone on their site
"Standby time 706 hours
Talk Time 12 hours"
706 HRS is 29 DAYS i dont even get 3 hours, but due to the draining i dont even get any talktime
so the phone is NOT as described, NOT of satisfactory quality and NOT fit for purpose0 -
