Crikey! Just realised it's 11 weeks since I last checked in
Weight loss stalled badly just after I last reported, but has been kick-started again last week thanks to a stay in the Lakes with a fair bit of walking (covered 33.3 miles in 5 days of walking, varying from shortest of 4.09 to longest of 8.99).
So in 11 weeks I've dropped 3.4lb to 163.4lb (making me exactly 11lb down on the start of the year). Not currently (quite) averaging the 0.5lb/week I'd like to lose, but at least it's in the right direction and not too far out (only 2.5lb short if my maths is holding up this morning) :TCheryl0 -
I have only just discovered this thread and would like to join you if that is ok. I have been dieting on and off for years and lost about 3 stone 5 years ago and it keeps creeping back up every time I stop weighing myself regularly. I weighed in at beginning of May 2015 at 12st 5lb and am now down to 11st 6lb so still around 20 lb to lose. I am hoping that having to type down in black and white every week my loss or gain will keep me on the right path.
I do not have any debt now but I was a mortgage arrears counsellor for a major bank in the 90s so saw the misery that debt can bring. I make it a policy never to pay a bank interest but to save for large items or use 0% deals and that has probably saved us a lot of misery. At the same time though we have been lucky in that my OH and I have always worked but I feel a great amount of admiration when I read about many people on this forum who have to deal with the weight of unsustainable debt and still manage to keep plugging away at reducing it.
Good luck to all reducing weight and/or debt and hope to see both disappearing over the next few months.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. My starting weight is 11st and 6lb or 160 lb and I want to get down to 140 lb so a nice round number
. Probably won't lose anything by Wednesday of this week though as only just weighed myself and have managed an average of 1-1.5lb per week for the last two months.

Morning all
Jumping in first with another 1lb loss which puts me back to where I fell off the wagonSo now weighing in a 10.4lbs. Slow and steady but feeling pretty good and in control
Good luck to everyone

This is the last I can see with a weight in it, but you reported a 2lb gain (without mentioning actual weight) a week later. So it looks to me as if your last report was 10stone 6 on 29th April.
Thank you so much you would make a far better detective than me
So if I was 10.6lbs after I had put on the 2lbs:mad: I have stayed the same as I am still 10.6lbs so very happy with that
So will check in Wed but as only weighed today I doubt I will lose much but at least I am back on track and posting

STS today at 159.
I've been trying *pretty* hard but I know there is room for improvement so just need to be stricter with myself!
I restarted playing badminton yesterday (after a 2 year hiatus!
) so hopefully that bit of exercise will burn some extra fat. Feeling it today, walking up the stairs was painful this morning!

Just weighed myself and I am 11st 5lb or 159lb so have lost 1lb since Monday but only because I have a stinking cold and not eating very much. Still 1lb closer to my target weight - only 19lb to goI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Have not lost any weight this week, but am happy that I am still the same weight. Will definitely have to start exercising to shift the weight. Still 2281bs0
