Here it is, battered and bruised already, after only having it for a month:

I'm wondering if they've forgotten to print Connect on some of the cards because the removal hasn't been communicated to any of the staff where I work!

On a related point, does anyone know how much retailers are charged per transaction? Is the charging structure the same as it is for debit/credit cards currently? I can't imagine it is, else I can't see retailers being all that interested.

This is my card. Got it in the post today. I think this is a full auth one?
I want to be able to use it at Tesco petrol.

Edit* Won't let me post an image lol

Is it a new Navy Blue/Light Blue Centre Wing (Half and Half) but with No Contactless Logo?

If so its supposed to be a full Auth one yet people on here say they can use them at the Pay@Pump as long as the funds are in their account?

I like the new card design.

When you see the 'debit card' section on the Barclays website, the branding of the debit card (Connect) is gone.

If it doesn't have the contactless symbol, it's a full authorisation card.

Yeah it's a full auth, no contactless symbol and the card starts 4658.

Yes this is the Cash Card account visa debit. It has a £10-£15 Buffer for shopping etc which means that you can in theory go overdrawn (I have twice but only by a few quid) because it can take a few days for Supermarkets and out of hour stores to actually take the funds.

Only real problem I've had with it is sometimes when it needs to be used as verification for example signing up to a New Mobile Contract or Betting websites often say it can't verify (taking a £1 fee etc) even though there is plenty of funds on it.

Not sure if it works at Pay@Pump. Some people on here say it does, others say it doesn't? Will have to try it next time.... ;)

I see. It's interesting to see that there is a buffer on the card. What is the likleyhood of ringing Barclays up and asking to be upgraded to a contactless card? Will try Pay@Pump when I get a chance over the weekend. What happens if it's refused though? Is there an option to use another card or pay cash at the main tills?
