Bought an over the counter migraine tablet from Boots yesterday and earned 7 points for that. Scanned the receipt on COS and earned a penny cashback. I found a 5p coin on the floor in front of the cashier but too embarrassed to pocket it so handed it to the cashier. (I was hoping he would say keep it for honesty but he put it in the charity tin in front of him which i was pleased about. At least it went to a charity rather than to himself).
Bought some YS goodies yesterday, came out with 2 carrier bags of breads, a punnet of grapes, 3 cabbages, 4 pints of milk (which gave me 25p cashback on Shopitise) and 4pots of yoghurt all for £1.89. As usual it made me felt so guilty to pay so little for so many items and still get cashbacks for them. Imagine 4 pots of yoghurt a for 2p? It's half a penny each! Cashbacks earned 25p on Shopitise, 1p in COS and 1p in Clicksnap.
Fantastic results! Please don't feel guilty. When you read the crap things some big retailers do to stop people trash picking food, like throwing bleach over it etc. Trust me they are just glad to not fill their expensive big wheelie bins that cost a fortune to have removed and dumped. Plus they will all be on wastage targets to. A YS sale is still a sale to the managers and men in grey suits." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

son donated all his 5ps and 2ps so appox £2 there

I agree Bob never feel guilty about spending very little in a supermarket. Its better in your home to feed your family than in a skip going to waste. The big supermarkets should be ashamed of themselves the amount that they waste.0 -
I've been on holiday but back now so got to get back in to the swing of things. I'm going to keep my eye out for receipts on all my shopping trips now.0

It's an interesting discussion. Supermarkets do waste a lot it's true. And they do over small suppliers all the time. However with the amount of buracraucy surrounding use by dates and sell by dates their hands are somewhat tied regarding when they have to get rid of food by. Also consumers are now very fussy in terms of buying items if they don't look perfect. So a lot does go in the bin when in times gone by it would have been sold as broken at a discount. I have very little sympathy with their business models so don't think I am defending them but with the modern expectation of being able to shop 24/7 and having every item available around the clock too supermarkets must have a big headache trying to remain stocked to optimum levels which generates waste." I found a coin of 10 Kenyan somethings in A1d1's parking lot. It looks like a 2-euro coin, so probably was mistakenly taken by someone and thrown away. I'll put it in one of these charity boxes that collect foreign coins. Otherwise, not much luck wombling, but tomorrow morning I'm planning a trip to the posher supermarket, which should give me something.

I had rich pickings of unwanted receipts on the self service check outs in ashda yesterday. I've uploaded 5 receipts to mine and DH's COS account and 4 to Clicksnap. I have a few more to upload but I've reached my maximum upload for today. Will try again tomorrow. It's a shame it's only 1p per receipt unlike the usual 5p but still... Every little helps.
Cleaned one of the drawers in the study and food 12 empty ink cartridges. Checked Tesco club card website and found I could claim 125 cc points for every cartridge or get paid for them (75p for the black and £1.50 for the coloured cartridges. Still haven't decided whether to go for the cash value or the cc points. Any thoughts Bob?"There is Life AFTER DEBT."LBM 2009 Total Debt £49046.24 Debt Free as of 27/08/20150 -
Found 1 receipt yesterday which I uploaded to CoS, it said upload failed so I did it again and ended up getting 2p credited to my account.LBM: Dec 2012 - Debt £38,180/ Now £0.

Thee were 2 receipts left at the self service checkout on Sunday, which I grabbed, but clubcard points had already been redeemed so no joy there and I threw them in the recycling bin. I didn't think to upload them to earn 1p. I don't really use ClickSnap as I heard it's the same as CheckoutSmart and you can't use both. Anybody know if this is right?0
