Maybe they can send those who don't want to pay to Pontins instead:rotfl:

    HAHAHAHA!!

    That would be funny.

Are they all dreadful? I stupidly went to Brean Sands a few years ago and never ever again.

They said it had had a face lift! I'd say they had a dodgy plastic surgeon!

Food was mouldy, chef said tough luck, all the kitchen staff had walked out and one night they held a competition for someone to win a holiday an nobody entered!

Has put me off all Pontins everywhere.

Never? Really? On the contrary, I am thinking of every time I have been to France and can't think of a single occasion where they haven't asked to see (and usually take copies of) photo ID.

The European holidays are via Eurocamps. They are brilliant. They will need you booking confirmation but won't ask for any ID at all, certainly wont take copies of it, firstly as I wouldn't let them, and secondly as they don't have a facilities to do it - they run out of a little on sit tent for reception.

Only thing I would say is book the Ferry separately - if you book them together thats the only time I think there may be an issue.

We already have the codes, they're posted in the first post of this thread.

I'm going to need tomorrows code to access the Non Priority booking site, as my priority code only allowed me to make one booking. Is there going to be an attempt to crack it tonight ?.

    That's never going to happen.
Last promotion however, the Bonus Codeword worked as a 10th codeword on the Newby site too.
If not we've got kind of a minuture hack worked out already.
Try these words, one of those will probably work.

Its worth checking butlins site as they have offers on at the moment. Even some of the school holiday are actually cheaper for me to book butlins direct than book with the sun. There is only 2 of us though.
  • Thank you everyone, esp Essex Boy, we booked at 1am this morning and are going to our favourite site, Pardean Ruda, for the 13th successive year in July.

i have always bought passes for butlins friends have never bought them when you go there i have never been given any ticket or wristband to show i have paid and i walk about freely, friend who never pays does the same.. i have read somewhere that you cannot use facilities if not paid however i have yet to be proved you cannot.. Friends of mine do this all the time.. even at xmas last year there was no pass or band issued to me to show i had paid.. friend didnt pay and was still able to walk freely.. How does that work then

For the entertainment passes it is often a case of letting your conscience be your guide.

If you use the facilities, including the swimming pool, you should pay for the passes. Not everyone does though ...

In most instances the holidays are cheaper than booking direct, especially if you are booking during school holiday times. So be an honest person if you are using the facilities, and pay for the passes I say.

But each to their own ...

thankyou for all your hard work last night, I managed to book 2 holidays with my priority code, got both parks and dates I wanted and all booked by 1.30 am so thankyou. Now I want to ask for your advice through the day I have joined sun perks, just got a couple more codes to get to have 15, I did this in the thought I would be increasing my chances of booking for next time, but now I am beginning to wonder if I carry on with perks does that mean I wont get a priority number come for April. If that's the case I want to stick with the priority codes so will cancel perks. sorry if this sounds like double dutch

    well good for you dear
I've been going since I was born and never had an issue in all that time. The lead person has been occasionally asked to show their passport which I did mention, but that's it , and that would be central European countries only .
And that's France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal , Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Hungary, Italy etc ...

    Maybe it's you :)
