Sun Holiday Codes January 2015

Ok, I'm a newbie at this, was luck to have been give a priority code & chuffed with the break I've been given at Cherry Tree. Just thinking ahead & I have a couple of questions please. When the April offer comes up, is that likely to offer school Summer holiday dates? If so, I would be interested in extending a stay to 7 days.
It's likely to but no guarantee as we saw by the missing July dates this promotion
Is it really hard to get something in peak season?
Yes
How do you go about extending to a week as there isn't an option when you book, so do you do it direct with the park? In which case, is it better to try for a 3nt or 4nt break to extend?
If you do it through the park you're likely to be charged either the going rate or Late Booking Rate
The Sun recommends this
You will need an application form for each accommodation required (e.g. 1 application form for the 4-night break and 1 application form for the 3-night break).
You will also need a set of newspaper tokens for each application form.
Complete both application forms with the party details (the same address/member/park details on both)
Write your choice of holiday start dates on the first form, and the consecutive dates on the second form.
Staple the forms together. Attach a covering letter explaining that you want to go on holiday for a week.
Attach the payment and send both forms and payment IN ONE ENVELOPE.
However, it is not possible to book a 7 night break in the UK online.
One more thing, which is given priority, your date choice or park choice? Thankyou, sorry, so many questions....0 -

they never ask who's there anyway as long as one persons name ideally the lead matches. Its mainly the numbers that are an issue, for insurance, but in 40 yrs we've never been asked to prove if we all are the names on the booking.proud to be a young stroke survivor0 -

Is it possible to add on extra guests to an original booking? So instead of 4 people make the booking 6 when they invoice me for the remainder of the holiday? And then pay just 2 x £9.50? If of course they have the room?!
I would be very surprised if they only charged you £19 to add the 2 extra people on. It will probably be somewhere close to how much their full rate is minus what you've already paid.
May be worth trying a second booking for them for the same dates, could well work out cheaper.0 -

They won't allow it. At all. So you need to find out who's going and then book. If it was a UK booking you might have been ok as they wouldn't know there were different people but with France you have no chance.0 -

Never? Really? On the contrary, I am thinking of every time I have been to France and can't think of a single occasion where they haven't asked to see (and usually take copies of) photo ID.0
