I forgot it was friday 13th too until I saw Alfie's post! It must be though as I put clean clothes on this morning and only got as far as taking DD2 to school and got soaked through with mud splashes all over!
I am a little bit superstitious though but I also believe it as being lucky for most
Great pics everyone!Hope it's a a very lucky day for us all!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Thanks for the pics. I too had forgotten it was Friday 13th although I'm not superstitious.
Thanks Alfie and FireFly. I've started ready again after my last book win.
It's sunny bright and quiet out here this morning. Abigale seems to have hit the West Coast of Scotland. Hope people get power back quickly as days are short now.
Hope everyone has a good and lucky weekend.0 -
Spoke too soon. Suns gone raining and a bit windy now.0

Looks like another terrorist attack lots of people have been killed.
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
It's really worrying isn't it. Around 40 fatalities so far. Around 100 hostages taken too, very scary, thoughts are with all the families. XxBig thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0

Good morning all!
Hope you are well on this rather damp start to
the weekend.
The news of the atrocious multiple attacks in Paris is just
dreadful and my thoughts are with all those affected.
The weather here today is going to be a tad damp to
say the least
so no gardening for me!
No sun either apparently, will have to find something to
do indoors like the dreaded housework!
Stay safe all, will pop by later.

Hope everyone is ok today. Feeling quite depressed TBH what with Paris and one or two small family things. Family things not serious but quite a few little things and I do tend to worry too much.
I do love this expression "Worrying works, most of the things I worry about never happen!"
Anyway, heading to the Lakes tomorrow (weather forecast bad) but will be nice to get away. DS1 should be here in about a week or so. He hasn't given us exact date as has a few things to do on his trip, including a wedding in Eire.
Hope everyone has a nice day.

was glad to get back in the warm
not heard that saying before sheils,
sounds a good one,
break for the lakes sounds a nice idea & hope
you have a lovely time whatever the weather,
hope everyone has a lovely day whatever you're
doing & hopefully a winning one xplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Morning all raining here too.
Strange I posted after Wingo's last one but it's not here. Went to bed and woke up thinking about the hostages in Paris. That will have been a lot of young people. Thought with all the families and all those injured.
Never heard that saying before either Sheils. Hope family things resolve themselves. You have a lot to look forward to. Hope journey to Lake District is ok and you enjoy your stay.
Ho Alfie house work here we come! Feel the same as you.
Fire Fly hope you too have a good day. Love the little cat.
Good luck all.0
