Feeling a bit numb this morning too about all what happened in Paris It's just barbaric and worrying how close it is. All those poor innocent people and families worrying that their sons/daughters have not returned home.

It's quite mild out here fire**fly but it was icy cold like that yesterday. I thought we were going to have snow!

Hope you find something else to do Alfie other than housework! Maybe comping? Speaking of comping, did I read right that there was a halfords comp for bikes each hour? I need a new bike for son.

Leanfun, it's strange how posts disappear after you've typed out, it's happened to me before and then I can't be bothered typing again!

Well I think I need another :coffee: to wake me up! I was up most of night watching news and got up to take DD to gym this morning but she's tired this morning so just going later. She's been working hard with school gymnastics, football, athletics and her own club gymnastics! I don't know where she gets the energy from, there's hardly a picking on her!

I was going to put my washing out but it's suddenly got chilly again and I think it's going to rain/snow.

Blimey everyone ... it's still raining here and getting a lot
heavier and the wind is kicking up big time! :eek::eek:

More leaf clearing through the week for me!





sheils - have a lovely trip away to the Lakes
tomorrow. I've not heard that saying either but
it does make sense! I tend to be a worrier too, may
copy the saying and stick it on my noticeboard just to
remind myself every so often!

Off to make myself a warming cuppa and treat myself
to a biscuit or three! Catch up later.

Ho Alfie love the pics. Both of them. Just finishing off some wine here from yesterday.

Here had a bit of disaste. Neighbour up the road who only seems to speak to us once a year. Stopped DH to give him some apples. I've made a crumble but forgot to check the oven temperature! Nearly had a burnt offering.

Can't stop thinking of all those young people. Their families will be looking for them. Thoughts are with them.

I burnt a quiche the other week leanfun and worst of it was DD came home wanting a piece of it!


Been watching Casualty, thought it was good this week.
All packed , but weather for tomorrow looks dreadful, suppose I can't complain as we have been so lucky on most breaks. Will have to resign ourselves to getting wet.

Sheils, I really hope the weather is ok for you. It's been raining quite heavy today and there's flooding here and there on our roads. Hopefully it will dry up tomorrow.

Well, it's finally stopped raining but the winds are gusty to
say the least and it's going to be like this all day! :eek:





Still - guess the leaf clearing will be a tad impossible in
the wind so maybe I could postpone it until tomorrow!
