Good morning all!

Hope you are all well on this glorious Thursday to be.

The weather here is going to be okey dokey ..... a
lovely mix of sun and light cloud.



Making for ideal gardening weather!

Managed to get out yesterday and give the lawns a quick
light mow, just taking a smidgen off the top. I always like
to carry on mowing throughout the year (weather
permitting ) cos it keeps them manageable and neat and
saves on the dreaded first cut of the year come spring!
:eek:

Also did some edging and tickled the soil with the fork
and even managed to mow/suck up some dreaded leaves
that had fallen on the grass!



I was a very happy bunny!

Good Morning,


Didn't get the dry day we were supposed to yesterday - got a bit wet when we went out. Supposed to be dry until lunchtime today so fingers crossed.


Great you got some gardening done Alfie. DH did cut down a couple of bits from the bushes that were sticking up as goodness knows when we will get to finish them. Couple of hours would probably do it.

& it took longer than i'd timed it for

Gosh you've both been busy this morning Alfie & fire**fly! It takes me a few coffees to try and motivate myself and I'm still not motivated!
DH in bed after nights anyway so he hates me getting the Hoover out then!

It was wet here most of yesterday too Sheils and jasper refused to go out. His new laying position is to lay with his legs up against the wall instead of going in his bed but we've just decorated the wall so not too happy!

I'm thinking of taking a break from comping for a while maybe after Xmas as I'm just not lucky to win anything anymore. I did get a tea bag through the post though the other day which was a bit exciting even though I don't like tea! I don't comp as much as I used to but still trying to comp here and there. Hope everyone else is having more luck x

Mind you, I'm like you and fire**fly - love my coffee. I must
have gone into a tea related competition years ago (think
the prize was money ) which I didn't win but blow me,
they keep sending me a birthday card every year with ....
yes .... a teabag in it. Ho hum!



I don't go in for many comps either, just the obvious ones
mainly to win money or vouchers.

Just back from a walk down to the local village and it's so
mild out!! Can't believe it for this time of year!

Hi wingo,


I was thinking of taking a break after Xmas too but the wine win has cheered me up a bit. Maybe we will be luckier in the advents. I still enter quite a lot although I have been away a lot this year so think either my luck has got less or there are lots more people entering. Haven't won a single break this year which was my main reason for starting to comp. Will need to hope Bluestone gives away a lot again in December! x
