Ooooh! Marmite for me, just :heart2: it! But it has to be on
white bread toast which has been buttered when hot.
On the other hand though, when I'm not having Marmite,
I like my burnt toast coldwith lashings of hard butter
and a good dollop of marmalade or jam.
I actually had cheese on toast this evening with sliced
toms on the top. Was a bit greedy cos I ended up having
3 large slices of toasted brown bread! It was quite
scrumptious though.

A bit late to the conversation here but I'm just in from work. :hello:
I don't like burnt toast: my dad says I like hot bread!with jam or butter (but not both together).
A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

agree there Alfie,
marmite has to be on white bread & the butter melting
so it all mixes in:drool:
love peanut butter on hot white toasted bread so it
goes all soggy
the cheese on toast sounds yummy for your tea tonight

Hehe! Loving the toast pics!
I don't like burnt toast either but can't seem to help burning it, I always get distracted!
All this talk of cheese on toast has made me fancy it so I'm going to make some, even though it's meant to make you dream!
Well done on the win fire**fly :T I had to google it to see what it was! It's quite expensive even on amazon! It will come in handy when you go mountaineering!I bet it's ideal for cold weather though
DH has his Xmas rota and has to work 23rd, 24th, 25th December nights!Still, at least he is off through the day. He worked nights last x/eve too.
Good luck with comps angelzarBig thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
