    Morning,

    Thanks all.

Just popped in to say I hope everyone has a lucky week.
Little bit apprehensive about our weather today - supposed to be OK tomorrow and Tuesday morning so will have to make the most of them. Some flood warnings in the Lakes so will need to watch where we go. Kendal has warnings so we are glad we didn't book there as it was one of the options.
Won't have much internet at second hotel so if you don't hear from me don't worry!

It was very windy here late last night. Not so bad now and not raining.

Hope you have a safe journey Sheils and weather clears for you in the next few days.

Take care when you go out Fire Fly.

Alfie we used to have a large ornamental cherry tree and I hated trying to pick up wet leaves.

ThNks Fire Fly he everyone has a good day despite the weather and the news.

Safe journey Sheils and hope it's not too bad where you are. Our local paper said it was going to be heavy rain today and it's mild out so got washing out :)

You're best off pottering about indoors Alfie/fire**fly if you've got bad weather not worth going out and getting cold. Xx

I bet the cherry tree was lovely to look at leanfun when the leaves hadn't fell off it :) Our garden is very boring with lots of leaves all over it from the trees running alongside the beck at the back. :o Can't have any flowers with jasper running about all over! We have half wall with fence at the top running all around the garden and if a magpie lands on it he thinks he's spider man and tries to scale the wall!

Hope everyone has a nice day whatever they're doing. I need to take DD2 in to town to collect her new glasses. It will be strange seeing her in glasses!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Got here safely thanks everyone . Rain was even off for a while.
We went to The Beacon Museum in Whitehaven. Part of it is closed so it is free at moment. It had some great interactive stuff to do. I was reading the weather, driving forklift trucks and playing Space Invaders!
Going to Brewers Fayre for dinner as it is just across the road

Hi everyone, We are back home now. Glad to be back in our own bed. Sorry was not able to keep popping in while we were away. Had a really busy week, Wallpapered DD's lounge as she is not really well enough to do it and keep going to work at the moment. Most of their rooms need doing due to the renovations they have just had done.

Hope you are all OK, well done on any wins. Will chat again tomorrow.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

Welcome back Sylvia and hope you had a nice time at DD's :) Sounds like you've had a busy time!

That's great you got there ok Sheils :) The museum sounds fun! Enjoy your meal :)

I don't blame you fire**fly not wanting to stay out too long! The weathers deceiving at the min, looks sunny but chilly!

My DD loves her new glasses leanfun but I'm not too convinced yet! :o She chose them herself but I thought they looked a bit too big for her. I suppose I will get used to her wearing them! I've wore contact lenses since I was 18 so never really got used to glasses.

Am I the only one not watching I'm a celeb tonight? I love ant & dec but can't stomach what the contestants do or eat. I had a nice bath instead!
My new blinds get fitted tomorrow so need to move the corner sofa in the morning.
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!
