    Evening everyone,

MRSMONEYPENNY/PEPPAPIG/3FORHOLIDAYS thankyou so much for your kind words, i do get myself into a state over things, its just silly things that make me panic, like who will look after the dog!!! Since we lost our other dog this one is as bad as me in being anxious, and number one is being left alone, he absolutely wrecks the house (architrave chewed and ripped off the wall, doors scratched to pieces, big lumps bitten off the wine rack, he pees everywhere) so for the last few years we either have to take him everywhere with us or make sure someone is home. Now DD2 is having to change her day off at work to take me, thumper will be with her and i feel awful, she has enough to cope with without babysitting her mother. The stupid thing is if it is for one of the kids, i deal with phone calls, appts etc and am a much stronger person but anything else i fall apart. I need a tablet that just takes all the negative feelings away and just makes me think positive :D

Hello all, remember me?I do still read along ,but not had anything to say of note.

What a time you have all been having with health in one way or another, you are all so brave.Particularly JJ,you amaze me,I do so wish they could get to the bottom of your problem.

The reason I have come on is freespirit.Sweetheart be kind to yourself, your beautiful family would want you to look after yourself. When you phone the Drs again imagine the appointment is for your little grandson. You wouldn't be fobbed off if it was for him.You are so kind and thoughtful with always a kind word for everyone.Be brave and change that appointment soon.

I have recently had my gall bladder out.But am waiting for a massive operation on my spine.Take heed Free,I have had a bad back for 24 years since they tried to give me an emergency epidural when I was having my eldest.I have soldiered on and in hindsight modified my life around it.I just thought, everyone has a bad back, they can't do anything for it.They always blame anything I have on me being overweight.I lost 4 1/2 stone last year and my back was no better so I went to the Doctor who referred me to the Phsio who fast tracked me to a surgeon. They were amazed that i could walk and that I was continent!!!!!!!!!!! So Free, don't put it off,get it sorted.

christmas wise I have bought for my Mum and a few stocking filler type things for people. My son has a new girlfriend and they are going to Canada in September time to work for 2 years. We are moving house in a couple of weeks so doubt we can afford a trip over this year.Maybe next year.

    take care everybody Vx

    Hello Everybody

I'm back again! Took some time out from reading along as I was undergoing some fertility treatment after trying to conceive for 3.5years with polycystic ovaries!

I'm very pleased to say that I'm nearly 17 weeks pregnant due on 26th November so hubby and I will have our first child to celebrate Christmas with this year!

So I'm in overdrive when it comes to Christmas shopping as I want to make sure everything is done well in advance!

    Hope everyone is well

FEISTY aaarrgh i just rang which took a lot for me to even make the call and he said i cant change the day only the time ??? Wouldnt say why, so i said could i make a date in July, he said no we havent got the rota yet!!! I said it was the date not the time and explained i rely heavily on the kids a) for transport and b) for moral support and it wasnt possible for any of the kids and he just said i have other times that day OMG  this is why i suffer from social anxiety i just cant deal with people!!! I feel like saying shove it where the sun dont shine but i know again i am cutting my nose off to spite my face, i should really find out what this lump is....

Oh free, please don't be too hard on yourself. I am sure your daughter will be delighted to help as you are so supportive and always lend a hand for her. As others have said, just pretend you are phoning for a loved one and I know you will fight to be heard!

    Peppapig Thankyou :D
OPEE ooh how exciting, mine should be around the first week of july :) oh so glad you have found a house you like, good luck with the move x

Mine wasn't due until the last week of June so it looks like they're getting them out quite speedy....now I just have to resist the urge to spend it before Christmas (MIL is coeliac so we buy nearly our entire Christmas dinner from M&S as they have a fantastic Gluten Free range, so that's what I'm going to be using mine for)

I hope you can get your appointment changed....make sure you look after yourself!!
Opee so glad you found somewhere :)

Thank you Feisty....it's such a relief....when we viewed it I found myself wandering around imagining where my Christmas tree etc will go....my OH was more impressed with the fact he will have a shed ;)

Evening everyone, we have all been so lazy in this house today, we have all had a PJ day ;);) had a freezer dive dinner, watched our weekly lovefilm dvd, and not much else!! Oh dear shall try and do better tomorrow :D it has been so muggy here but dull at the same time.

VULPIX oh my lovely, how very sweet of you, i am very touched by your words, they are really appreciated, especially when you have a lot going on at the moment. I hope the house move goes as smoothly as can be for you, you must have put up with a lot of pain over the years if they were surprised that you could walk, i do hope this op goes well for you and takes all that pain away, i should imagine it will be a long recovery time so please take good care of yourself and take all the time that you need. Good for you losing all that weight that is fantastic, im afraid i get the 'its your weight' answer to everything as well, at least you proved them wrong. I was supposed to have my gallbladder out years ago, the pain was immense and the nights i had it were awful, i was almost near to the op when my DD2s chiropractor saw how much pain i was in at one of her appts, i explained and he put this sucker machine on me all around that area, and i never had the pain again :eek: the op was cancelled, i still dont know what it did but i will forever be in debt to that lovely man :D Oh how lovely for your son, i would love to go to Canada, i hope you do get to go out there to see him, i should imagine he will be very much missed x

CAZ that is wonderful news, congratulations to you both, hope you have a magical first christmas together x

FEISTY thankyou, DD2 really wants to take me so i shall see if she can swap days when she goes in to work on monday, if not then i will ring again, how are you? x

OPEE ooh im surprised as i thought it might take longer as they were so busy around that time with people taking up the offer, aah that is lovely that you know you can cater for your MIL and not have to worry about the expense. Hope the packing is going well!!

Free, I'm very slowly getting there. I've had to take another week off as just wouldn't be able to cope going back tomorrow, but I am determined to be back a week Monday. Our savings have taken a huge battering and usually we would just be thankful to have them as a back up, but seeing as technically the savings are for the house purchase (still slowly going through) it is a bit of a worry :(

Feisty I don't know what to say it must be horrible to be in that position and is one of my fears. I pray you get well enough or to a capable level or better if thst makes sense.

Freespirit a pj day sounds good I've just put the heating on - shocking for June I think.

B and m are doing half price dvds so I've added to my Christmas stockpile.

    Love and hugs all x

Huge Congratulations, very exciting news xx

Been lurking and reading along with you all the past few months, but only had my phone so trying to type on the worlds smallest, stubbornest, keypad to post, just wasnt working for me!

We too are in the process of moving house. We found the home of our dreams, in our dream location (only 1/4 from where we are, but such a nicer area) and for an affordable price (due to the dreadful decor, it even has an original 1930s bathroom suite! - but its all cosmetic!)!

We were amazed to find our house sold to first viewers, and for asking price! Mortgage application is in, valuation is a week tomorrow, so the worry is really setting in now. Just want to know the mortgage is offered, and get a date!

Dh had last week off, his last hols until autumn, so he decided to pack everything he possibly could (alongside a huge de-clutter, and numerous charity shop/tip runs). I wasnt best pleased, as Im afraid to tempt fate, and it also means we are now spending the next goodness knows how long, living in a glorified storage unit that used to be our home!

Christmas wise, I am almost done for the kids, and most of extended family, which is lucky as money is going to be tight a while if we move, whilst we get the house sorted.

Huge hugs to those who are having a tough time at the moment, sadly there seems to be a lot of us facing worries/stress or illness lately, and I genuinely hope things start to improve for each and everyone of us very soon xx
