FEISTY aaarrgh i just rang which took a lot for me to even make the call and he said i cant change the day only the time ??? Wouldnt say why, so i said could i make a date in July, he said no we havent got the rota yet!!! I said it was the date not the time and explained i rely heavily on the kids a) for transport and b) for moral support and it wasnt possible for any of the kids and he just said i have other times that day OMG :mad: this is why i suffer from social anxiety i just cant deal with people!!! I feel like saying shove it where the sun dont shine but i know again i am cutting my nose off to spite my face, i should really find out what this lump is....

Free, well done on making the phone call but it's not that you can't deal with people - it's just that he's obviously a tit! If you ring on a different day you'll probably get someone else at the end of the phone and they'll be more helpful - there's usually a group of people who answer the phones in appointment centres. If it's him again you can always hang up lol.

Freespirit That's terrible that you cannot get the appointment date changed. I would do as Peppapig said & try again. I've often requested that appointments be changed and it is never usually a problem. I'm currently attending a clinc and they have been giving me the last appointment of the day so I don't have to take too much time off work. :T

The only thing I can think is it's a clinic that only happens one day of the week but even then surely you could be offered the next week. For example all of miles oncology appts are on a Thursday as that is the only day that clinic runs. But the person you spoke to does seem to have missed out on the patient relation part of his job and is lacking in people skills. I'd try again another day or at a different time and as has been suggested hang up if you get him.
