Hi, after all my good intentions of posting at least every other day, I disappear for 3 weeks.
Been busy with the kids and work. Traveling about taking the girls to dance comps and my son to golf. Still working part time and running my business the rest of the time.
Sorry to hear you are back in hospital JJ, really hope you get answers and get out soon. X
Freespirit and Feisty, hope you are both on the mend now xx
Congratulations Caz :-) xx
We are away on a caravan break up to Nairn the first week in July. Really looking forward to it, but hope the weather picks up. Today is actually chilly!
It's my wee boys 8 birthday while we are away. So we have some good things planned to do while we are away.
Not bought anything for Christmas (except reduced crackers, cards and wrapping paper) just saving my pennies in my tins and hope it's a good boost come November x:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Feisty - oh no. Hope the machine can be fixed.
Nic - enjoy your holiday! We love taking the girls away to our caravan for their birthdays, they think its a great way to spend their special day, and it saves me the money, time, and stress of organising a party for 20+ screaming girls :-)
Got valuer coming round Friday. Fingers crossed he doesn't under value us, we probably cannot afford to take much lower for it. Yet another move-related stress to interfere with my sleep! It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -
Pink good luck with the valuation tomorrow![/COLOR]2024 Challenges

PEPPAPIG hope you are ok??
NIC you sound very busy!! Hope you have a lovely holiday and the weather plays fair, and DS has a fab birthday

Hi everyone
Just back from a short break to Yorkshire.Hotel had wifi but it was so slow that I couldn't get on here nor do many competition entries either.
Don't have long to go until my main holiday to South Devon in mid July. I think that you can probably guess from my username that I like my holidays!A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

Was looking for a birthday present for a friend and saw the attached for coasters. £16 plus delivery sounds a bit steep for four, but thought as they are individually personalised, there is no reason not to split, wrap nicely and have very nice personal gift for about £5.
What do you think?

GTQ - coasters look fantastic, I am sure people will be delighted to receive them.
Well the valuer was here all of 8 minutes, hoping thats a good sign. All he did was wander through the rooms and measure outside of the house.
Valuation for our new home is Monday, so I am hoping after then, I may be able to finally get some sleep. I have always been a really good sleeper, but since starting the whole house move process, I don't seem to be able to sleep longer than 4 hours a night, and as a result, come 5pm, I am like an extra from the walking dead!
Had a rejig of my budget/spending finance plan today and have slashed the xmas and bday budget by a further £200 a year. I realised that this is still very do-able, as I already have most of it, and looks as though dd's will still end up with a decent sized pile under the tree, so why spend more just for the sake of it?
Have a lovely weekend everyone, it is the first in many months that dh and I both have off together, so we have lots of family walks, board games, baking sessions, and cuddles on the sofa planned - the best things in life truly are free xxIt's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0
