Evening everyone, i have done a bit of baking today, caught up with all the washing and sold something on facebay, i only had it on for half an hour and someone messaged me and said yes they would have it, unfortunately the two items i put on last night and [sold] the person hasnt turned up for them  its so rude they only have to send a message to let me know fgs!! So a bit more decluttering done, another shelf empty :D

Pink I think that is about the normal amount of time for a valuation, most of the research is done online with similar sales etc. it is very nerve racking, but will hopefully be worth it :)

We received the hard copy of searches for the place we are buying yesterday, along with the original fixture and fitting list. I really hope this means it won't be too long now!

Hello everyone, on this un-summery sunday morning! did we forget to order summer?
chez invis continues to race at breakneck speed from chaos to crisis and back again. Good news is that DDs HB claim has been approved what a relief, and we are on track to get her other benefits sorted out. (just calm down, dear). The garden is drowning, and the bedding plants got so stressed they had a breakdown. seriously, the poor weather this year is unbelievable. my computer is about to die, no battery reserve, so l will post this now and write again later. hugs to all, xx
  • Free spirit - I am still catching up on mm&m but have found some invaluable tips, and so far, am very excited by our new os lifestyle!

Feisty - Thanks for the info re valuers, I will try to relax a bit now.
Looks as though yours is finally on the move, wishing you all the best x

I am "splashing out" today and taking us all for Sunday lunch at our local. £30 gets us 4 x 2 course meals, and 4 drinks. I have managed to save that from food budget over the last couple of weeks, so not really spending anything extra!

Happy fathers day to all the dads, hope everyone has a good day x

    Hi everyone

MrsI I agree, it does seem like we have missed a season and went from Spring to Autumn! Glad to see that your DD's benefits are finally getting sorted out. The benefits system is so unnecessarily complicated and fails the very people that it is meant to help!

pinknfluffy Hope that you enjoy your meal. That's great value for money at £30.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads! :)

Apologies that I've been mia (and thanks for the concern Freespirit) but we've had a very sad time as a family this past week. Honorary DD went into labour at 26 weeks, was taken up to London and baby delivered but he only lived for just over an hour. As you can imagine we're all so sad and HDD and her DH are devastated. Won't share any more details but I know you on here will understand.

Anyway, hugs to those that need them. Mrs I so glad DD's benefit is finally getting sorted and Feisty, glad that the move seems to be moving again. Lizzie, Create and Craft sounds interesting, will try to pop on and have a look if it's on Sky. Only a few weeks now until Christmas in July on QVC - hope it's better than the last couple of years. Pink or Free, what is mm&m? It sounds interesting but I've tried thinking of all sorts of phrases and have had to give up.
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :

Peppapig Deepest condolences to all. It is so difficult to find the correct things to say in situations like this. Big hugs.
