Sorry I just need to rant right now and have no one else I can do it to......just got home from work to find that my OH has taken Our sofa to the tip! Hasn't replaced, just simply binned the other one! He didn't even ask my opinion (because he knew I would say we can't afford a new one so we need to keep this one until we move) how exactly is a single arm chair supposed to do for a family of 4????? I'm absolutely furious and all he keeps doing is laughing and telling me he made an executive decision!0

ohhh opee.. put a sign on it saying MUMS CHAIR... lol one of my sofas so needs to go to the dump.. the dog has ripped a whole in one of the seats.. but im not paying out for a new one for her to do it again. lolTotally debt free wohooo 2014

:bdaycake:HAPPY BIRTHDAY PINKSTEPS :bdaycake:
Evening everyone, i had a really nice mooch around Costco tonight, i havent been since before christmasotherwise today has been very quiet here, tomorrow it wont be i have Thumper as DD2 has her last catch up day before she goes back on 1st June after maternity leave, i must admit i am quite worried about her, she is getting so stressed about going back to work and leaving Thumper, she really doesnt want to go back!
Oh OPEE i would have gone nuts too if i had come home to one armchair, they really dont think do they?? Like MSGIGGLEWICK says make sure it is always him sitting on the floor, im sure he will think twice about it then#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
msgigglewick it's a real golf ball, although i'm sure a chocolate one would have been better!
starlet the hamper for your grandad sounds like a wonderful idea.
nic 15 for dinner blimey, how do you cope?? It's nice to have space isn't it but then it makes bills higher which is rubbish. I hope you can find something that will work for you.
3forholidays I hope you get a more useful win soon!
freespirit the grass on my cake is a bit rough - I don't think a golfer would like it if their putting green was like that!Your poor DD, it's horrible if you don't want to go back to work. Is she going back full or part time? Hopefully in time it will become more normal and it will work for her.
Opee aaarrgggghhhhh how infuriating!!! I would be mad as anything! I sometimes can't see any logic to the decisions men make. He may have made an executive decision but it was a BAD one! As others have said, make sure he has to sit on the floor!
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY PINKSTEPS! _party_
Well I have bought a couple more Christmas presents which I was pleased about as my Christmas shopping has been stagnant recently. I bought my brother a minions key chain light and some minions slippers. He is turning 40 on Christmas Eve but he absolutely loves them! I do worry sometimes about buying things like slippers this early because if they don't fit I can't return them, but i'm pretty sure they'll be ok.
I have got the dreaded lurgy, but luckily my mum came down yesterday and is staying until Sunday. I'm really grateful today as DH is out all day at Wentworth so it will be a massive help having mum here. Unfortunately as DH have both had it now I don't see how Wiggle can escape it.0 -

Feisty, hope your silence means you're busy in a good way and nothing else.
Aww thank you for noticing lovely, sadly I've been in (and I'm still in) hospital for the last few weeks.
Some of you may remember that I was whining about my IVF symptoms a few weeks back? Well it turned out I had the beginning of something called OHSS. It's usually rare and even then mild, but unfortunately I managed to go down with a severe case. I won't go into specifics but it has been a very scary time and we are hoping that they have finally managed to stabilise me[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Opee, I would be livid! And it would be him sitting on the floor not me!
Hugs and healing vibes to you feisty, I hope you are feeing much better soon. Sorry to hear ŷou are in hospital. I hope you have books or something to keep you occupied.
Just finished trisha Ashley's swish upon A star, really nice book, I would throughly recommend it.
Made a work colleague cry this morning, in a nice way. I'd done her a cross stitch for her birthday and left it on her desk.SPC~12 ot 124

Princesskitty29 that cake is FAB.....I wish I had a talent like that!
Thank you for all the replies. I've calmed down a little bit about the sofa situation since FIL turned up with another arm chair this morning from his spare room so at least we now more than one person at a time can sit down :T
A friend of mine works in a rather well known supermarket and he sent me a photo last night of the pallet of "celebration" chocolates they received on the last delivery. Apparently they're due to go out on the shop floor next month :xmastree: :xmastree: :xmastree:0 -
Oh Feisty, so sorry to hear that, especially with the rough time you've been having lately. I've just been reading about OHSS - trust you to be in an exclusive club of only 1-2% of people who have IVF! Glad you were diagnosed in time and are on the mend now. Hope DH is managing without you and that you aren't worrying yourself silly about him while you're not able to be at home. Sending virtual hugs. (only basic smilies working so no fancy icons I'm afraid
)
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0
