Hardly sneaky when it has been all over the press for the last weekl, by the way it is a promotional item, you need to spend money to get it at the reduced price which it clearly states0

So you think an advert or article in a newspaper means a shop doesn't have to label the prices instore?
Next time I do my shopping in a store I'll be sure to scan through the tabloids to find out what things might cost. After all, who could expect the store to actually label the price correctly? That is surely way too much effort for them.0 -
So you are moaning about the "tat" that you are in there buying yourself?0

No I didnt say that, I said it is hardly sneaky when it has been over both online, TV and print regarding the pricing. Also it is marked up in the stores and I wouldnt put it past the moany !!!!!!! of OP who is forever moaning on these forums, I'll allow you to search their threads.ThumbRemote wrote: »So you think an advert or article in a newspaper means a shop doesn't have to label the prices instore?

The OP has a fair point. Poundland and their kind advertise "everything is £1". It clearly isn't, so its false advertising. Just like "unlimited" broadband which is actually limited in some cases.
What next? Pubs offering FREE* BEER?

It is advertised as "everything £1" and yet the bears they have in are not £1This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Apart from the widespread advertisement which the media also got hold of of an item being sold for more than £1 but less than it's wholesale price.
I'm struggling to find sympathy for the people who are complaining about getting goods for less than it's wholesale price.0 -
They do say that the bears are a special promotion and not £1Come on you Irons0
