My local store lets me sit down and empty all the boxes and put into carrier bags and then I leave all the massive Boots boxes behind for them to recycle.

I have collected orders from store on several occasions. Assistant never opens the box but has asked me in the past if I would like the items in carrier bags to make it easier to carry to the car. Maybe it depends on the individual. All staff in my local are always very polite and friendly.

Collected mine and was encouraged to take the stuff outta the boxes. Staff member was lovely!
On another note there's loads left in St Enochs and I managed to snaffle a Soap as Glory hat box someone retuned in front of me! Well chuffed!!!
Also not sure if anyone's mentioned this as its turnibg into an epic thread but the celeb scents are now 70% off in store too - loads Katy Perry, Beckham, Beyonc! and Minaj left

Yes my local store always asks if I'd like it out of the box, so that it is easier to carry in a plastic bag.


Yeah, I always keep popping in Boots after the 70% sale, as lots of people take back returns. Managed to get a S&G set last year, fingers crossed for this year... Not that I can fit anything else on top of the wardrobe! haha

Did anyone else have trouble buying on-line from the Boots 70% off sale?? I usually go to my local store for the sale but was unable to do so this year so went on-line at 7am yesterday to have a look, thinking it would actually start at 8am which is when my store opens. Wrong! Nearly everything had already sold out!! Also, if I was lucky enough to add anything to my basket, when I went into my basket those items had gone. Also, I would "add" an item and would get a message in green saying "item successfully added to your basket" but it wasn't. It was so frustrating and annoying!! I will makie sure I'm at the store next year!!!!!

Sale went live at just before 4am, I think most stuff went out of stock by 5/6am.
I always do online and in store , since sometimes the stuff ordered online might be out of stock. Worst case I have to return something.

Can I ask those who have placed online orders and collected them, did you get confirmation it was instore? My account says it's been dispatched but apart from confirmation emails I've heard nothing else? Thanks

Mine had a projected date of 20th to arrive in store when I logged into my account. Does yours say anything like that?
