I can't get it to pay with points - it keeps saying I need 2500 points, which was the original price. May be worth checking that you were only charged 750 points??

    Yep, 750 points (I don't have 2500 :D )

I also didn't get charged for store collection as it said the order was over £20........... glitchy, glitchy, glitchy!

as i got to our local boots at 8.30, a car pulled up outside and two women struggled to get 4 trollies across the pavement full of all the remaining big s&g boxes and loaded them into the car. how nice of these 2 to remove temptation from the rest of us!! hopefully no one will be prepared to pay the prices people are charging on ebay.

This sort of sheer greed really p!sses me off. I do wonder why Boots don't restrict the obviously popular items to 3 or 4 per person? They can't be bothered perhaps? Just want rid?

I'm not a vindictive person but I really do hope that all these greedy fcukers are left with stacks and stacks of these things that they can't shift on ebay

  • I called Customer Services and she processed mine for 750 points, so I am very happy with that - it should be ready to collect in store tomorrow. The question is, will I be able to go in store and not be tempted by anything else that is left! :rotfl:

  • I went on web site on Tuesday evening and info said sale would likely be 3rd Wednesday so I went to bed happy in the knowledge I wouldn't have to be up early. Big mistake. Then to make me grumpier I get the weekly email time stamped for midnight i.e too late to do anything as the shelves had been stripped bare by this morning. Poor show.:(

What happens when people collect their orders in their local store? We have a very frosty faced person who actually opens up the order to process through the till as a collection. I think she's just being nosey but maybe that the way all the stores do it. It's a while since I ordered but is there not something on the outside of the box to allow the person to process the sale?

They can scan the barcode on the box, to print off the receipt for you to sign as collected, or can type in the order number to bring it up and print off the collection receipt.
She's being nosey me thinks! haha

Where I pick my orders up from, they give you them in the big cardboard box - even if you don't want it. I would prefer the items in a carrier bag and leave the big packaging behind but I was told they are not allowed to take the items out of the original packaging as it is a fire hazard.

If by website you mean this one, then it's been discussed for over the past week that it was either the 14 or the 21st. Don't get annoyed with us if you were to lazy to check all the up to date information.

Last year my store allowed me to unpack the items, and take the cardboard boxes back :)
