Cooked some bolognase sauce in the slow cooker yesterday which we had with jacket potatoes. And there was enough left to have some for lunch one of the days I work at home, so that's now in the freezer :money:

Still have some Christmas and Birthday vouchers to spend, and could probably do with so,e new clothes for work, just can't find the motivation to go shopping though.

Pork chops are defrosting ready for tea, just to decide what to have with them

Busy week again at work but settling back in after my Maternity leave.

Been on a Coaching course today which has given me some time to think about my goals.

Managed to pay £50 on the car earlier this week when my expenses were paid and another £100 today when the other half got paid. A little under the £175 I was hoping to pay each week but not far off.

Our little boy hasn't been well this week and was sent home from the childminder yesterday after being sick so tomorrow will be a day for cuddles.

Forgot to mention I found £4 :j in a parking machine the other day, really lucky as I dodn't have enough change on me in coins for the £7  parking charge

Yesterday got a present for the other half's birthday in a couple of weeks, had been putting some money aside and made the most of the January sales reduction :T. Also managed to get 6 rolls of Disney Christmas wrapping paper for 20p each, so they will be put away for next year (along with the couple of presents i've already bought) :money:

Used a Birthday voucher to get myself some flat shoes (£6), socks (£2) and a lunchbox (£2) which I was quite pleased with, knocking doors to find new Avon Reps isn't the most comfortable in heels, and I have some time to go out with an Area Manager in a couple of weeks to build my little team of Avon Reps up.

As we're into February and I haven't recruited any new Avon Reps into my team I really need to get my bum into gear and start increasing my earnings, the wages from the full time job are what they are but my Avon income I can control so I'm going to aim for at least one new Rep in my team each week - first one booked in for tomorrow evening on the way home from work :j

Another item sold on eBay today and a couple that didn't sell have automatically been resisted. Once I recieve pay,net from the buyer I will empty my PayPal account as it will have reached the £50 mark so will send that off to the car finance company.

Had really hoped to hit my recruitment bonus for Avon reps but I just don't think I'm going to be able to do it with working full time as well, although £200 bonus would have been lovely.

Somehow managed to miscalculate the eBay sales and only have £40 in my PayPal rather than the £50 I was expecting:question: not sure whether to leave it or withdraw it and pay against the car loan anyway

So glad it's the weekend, the housework really needs to be caught up with and I have a cheque I need to get to the bank.

Also need to pop and get the other half a birthday card ready for next week.

Hey Laura! Really impressed reading your diary.. you've had a great start and seem very positive.

Just in case you were not aware.... Are you taking the paypal fees (3.5% + 20p per transaction) into account which what you see as payable to you?

Also, eBay will deduct 10% from everything you sell in an invoice at the end of the month but I pay this from the paypal balance as soon as something sells and is paid, so that I don't forget and get debited by eBay.

Then what's left is mine :j
    Hope this helps x

Thanks courage to change, it may well be the fees or I may have taken some money out of PayPal for the first item I sold I can't remember. Oh well, have a few things re-listed so fingers crossed they sell this week.

Oops, had a few letters in the post with settlement figures, each time I click on the settlement figure to see the impact of my overpayments it must generate a letter:o

A bit of travelling today for work so that will be an overpayment to the car when I receive my expense payment

Also have a cheque due to clear this week so that will be another overpayment :j. really cannot wait for this car loan to be shifted as it's a chunky payment each month

Tenants are still being a nightmare, will be glad when they have been evicted and I can get the property straight and hopefully some nice new tenants in

Noticed there's money to pay out on my Topcashback account, not sure whether to take the cash or convert to Amazon vouchers for an extra 5% - would be good to pay off the car loan but on the other hand would be a bit towards Christmas (I am saving each week towards Christmas into a seperate account). Decisions, decisions!

£400 payment to the car made today as my cheque has cleared :j also paid £400 towards the arrears on mortgage 1 and £500 into savings as I think house 3 May need some repairs when I eventally get the tenants out

Received the rent for property 2 today, £300 of that paid to the mortgage and £100 put aside for the service charge which is paid half yearly

Had to take the other half's car to the garage this morning (new cam belt ) so took the opportunity to pay the little man's pennies into the bank, £32 - not bad for a one year old! We then walked the two miles home :money:
