Took my car for service yesterday and it only cost £50 :j was expecting double that

On the other hand I decided to get the bus home as it was cold and I didn't want my little one out in it for too long, the bus was 2 miles each way (which I normally walk!) and it cost me £4.10  no wonder people don't use public transport

Went to visit my auntie and uncle yesterday afternoon and they gave me some food as they were making space in their freezer, so I've adjusted my online shop for Sunday as I won't have room for everything I had originally ordered.

This morning I've finished my witness statement as I'm taking the tenants of property 3 to the small claims court for their unpaid rent (or part of it, I submitted the claim in October and it's taken this long!)

I've also spoken to a solicitor last week to get the possession of property 3 through the court process and made the first payment to him. His costs will pretty much wipe out my savings but hopefully I will be able to re-build them when I get the rent owed by the tenants - the first £1,000 which I am taking them to the small claims court for and the remaining £1,50+ (and counting!) should come directly from the council once they lift the suspension on the tenants housing benefit

Thank goodness I had my outstanding holiday paid to me in December as I've had to cover the mortgage payments for property 3 for several months

Are there any fellow Avon Reps on here?

I know I can make more money from my Avon business but I need a kick up the bum, especially in this weather!

Sympathies re the tenants Laura, we have had similar issues on a smaller scale recently and it is very stressful. Really hope you manage to get it sorted soon.

I think you are being very sensible, sounds as though it will only cost you more if you leave legal action longer. Fingers crossed for nice new tenants!

Does anyone use Milk & More? I was looking at their website as it would be useful to have a few essentials once a fortnight and do a big supermarket shop the opposite fortnight and it looks like there's an offer for referrals - does anyone have a code they can send me?

Been to family for lunch today, chicken chasseur was lovely. Also came away with some sandwiches for work tomorrow so that's one less task for tonight :D

Not listed on eBay for a while so I've put 5 items from my Avon stock box on there to see how they get on, I have a feeling there are tonnes of Avon items on there but I've had them too long to send back and they would give me some space.

Then tomorrow is back to work for me after 13 months maternity leave I unfortunately have to go back to work :(

First week back at work and I'm exhausted!

Looks like my other half will be paid holiday pay for last week not just the one day he worked as we though, so I can make a start on clearing the car payments, hoping for £175 a week

Also get my Avon statement tomorrow which tells me how much I will be paid next week, always exciting as its commission based on what my team have sold

Well the other half didn't get paid quite as much as I expected, I don't think he's built up enough holiday days to be paid for the full week but still we got some.

Made a £75 payment to my car loan this morning so it's a start.

Should be getting my first Milk & More delivery today so not costing me much with £10 off the first order and did a big shop last week so hopefully won't need much else this week
