    I'm thinking of saving lint from my belly button, Bear Grylls says it makes excellent tinder for lighting fires and cheaper than cotton wool :)

    Since reading it on here, i buy full fat milk and Tesco dried skimmed nilk powder, then make-up a pint of milk powder and mix it with the blue top milk.

    Impressed with the suggestions so far! I do some of those, my other is making sure that I fill up the car at the cheapest petrol station when I pass it rather than running low and needing to fill on motorway or without choice.

    Also servicing my cars at home. Basic oil change service is very easy and saves about £100 a time.
    Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

  • pay for all insurances premiums annually, but save (in highest AER account) what they would have charged me if I paid monthly (compounding interest etc)
    Debt is a symptom, solve the problem.
