In my flat I had a tiny entrance hall , but it got very cold. An upturned plantpot with a candle under it creates a lovely hot radiator. Problem solved!0

In my student Years I used to water down the milk.
I read somewhere, buy 'blue top' full fat milk, then for every litre mix a pint of dried skimmed milk made up with water.
So it's a almost free pint with every litre and your very own skimmed milk.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

I've been watering down milk for years. I buy a 6pt container of full fat and decant into 2 pt containers, half filling them. Then just top up with cold water and freeze, so 6pts makes 12. I've never had anyone complain but have been told my semi skimmed tastes really creamy.
I tried the milk/dried mix once and it was just too powdery for tea and coffee.0
