    that capital one debt isnt mine. ( the car is in my dad's name ) He went away abroad to work for 6 months and left me with money to pay the card off ages ago which i never so that debt is 2 be cleared aswell. just thought would clear things up

    Hi. Applied from this link for a Barclacard Initial on a Friday (expecting rejection because of poor history) and got a card in the post on Tuesday! Incredible service. Only a low £260 limit - but its a start.

    help everyone!
    Ive applied for card, provisionally approved if sent 2 items to prove addess, sent these, theyve just come back to me and sent the bills back with a 'with compliments' sheet of paper saying will be intouch within 10 days, no credit agrrement to sign or anything...
    any ideas anyone? ?
    is this normal!?
  • Just thought i would follow this up by saying that i have since had an approval letter and the T and Cs to sign. Sent back 2 weeks today and havent heard anything as yet, hoping i don't have to pay a deposit!!
