The law might protect her but the police might not. There have been incidences where the police have actively assisted landlords with illegal evictions. If that were to happen I'd be taking note of Plods collar number and be making a complaint to the IPCC.
A lot of that'll be in the innocent party not knowing the exact wording/Act to use when confronted with Plod. Wording is key so they understand there's a law and which one. Many who come here and post use all the wrong words until it's been winkled out of them and corrected.0

I'm waiting for "Sue" and "Ryan" and all the other personas of this troll, I mean dodgy landlords, turn up on this thread.0

why do you think it's a troll? as far as I can tell Carla created an account to ask for advice. She's gone to work so her brother has taken over her account to update - nothing unusual there.inatdeepend wrote: »I'm waiting for "Sue" and "Ryan" and all the other personas of this troll, I mean dodgy landlords, turn up on this thread.0

I think the OP might well be genuine but there seems to be an increasing number of "help been kicked out...dial 999" type of threads on here.0

I think what they meant was that someone, not the actual Sue and Ryan, will create accounts as Sue and Ryan in order to troll the thread.
Not that Carla was a troll.0

What's so weird about brother and sister using the same account?

Some people see Trolls everywhere. I'm starting to think they are the trolls because real cases of trolling hardly ever exist. Most people on this site are genuine people looking for advice or discussion. I wish people would just shut up about trolls, you're not helping anyone by accusing every other thread of being a wind up. The rest of us don't care about your paranoid nonsense.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
