I was never in to it as a kid, lthough I was aware of it and understood it at the time. I'll probably get rid of the app and not think too much about it again in the next week or so. Half the problem seems to be I don't require a game to tell me I need to go outside to visit places and find things!

Currently copying my music collection from my external HD back on to my lappy so I can start changing the file type from wma to mp3 so I can put it on my Kindle to listen to when I'm away from home - it was all on there but after a factory reset it is no longer there and I can't remember how I got it on there in the first place.

    My awareness consisted of:
    1. That seems a crap game
    2. The intenet meme "It's super effective!"

You don't seem to be the only one with that perspective...

Doesn't the kindle appear as a USB storage device once you plug it in?

It does but the Kindle Fire won't play wma files.

Home from my trip to the coast yesterday. Was a really lovely trip, only got to the beach briefly when I was meeting the tri club for join their sea swim, which was really hard work!

Did my first trial shift this morning, despite doing the same job at my main job I feel like my legs are about ready to fall off, seems like some of the perm staff are lovely though really friendly and hopefully if tomorrow feels as comfortable the Ops Manager and I will be able to work out if its a practical thing for me to work for them casually/part time going forwards.

Since finishing the shift I've driven up and done three merchansiding jobs in a town 20 miles away, took over an hour to get home as I failed to get done early enough to miss the rush hour traffic. :(

Another day at the new place. Worked with mostly new people today, all still friendly enough, even the grumpy northern Chef - amused me he was described that way since he's a Derbyshire transplant therefore a southerner in my eyes.

Postal panel have updated the points - this month I had enough to redeem for £10, so thats on its way to my paypal.

At some point in the last week or so I've had £5 in paypal from receipthog, I don't remember seeing the notification but have withdrawn it along with the £3 from a survey panel.

Yep, I've seen the same from other people who come from places like Lincolnshire. If I drove that amount of miles north rather than south, I'd be in Scotland...

    How's the legs today?

I won't disagree that he's from north of here but it's not a northern Derbyshire accent which makes him a midlander.

Legs aren't too bad today. Main problem today was backache from standing around too long holding trays of pimms - clearly I need more pratise holding stuff on one arm while stood still.

Waiting to see if the Ops Manager gets next weeks rota done tonight or tomorrow as the full time job is as quiet next week as it was this week so I've said I'll do two or three days at the hotel and work my hours around what he needs. He's also said they've a few staff on holiday at the end of the month so if I want it there ought to be a fair number of shifts going then too - hopefully by then I'll be till trained as at the moment I feel a little useless when there are guests at the bar and I have to go find another staff member to put it through the till.

In other not at all childish news, I've booked a ticket to Finding Dory for tomorrow evening, and a mystery shop at the cinema while I'm there. o looking forward to it!

Is it a goer in terms of a new job?

My own wedding? Strange concept....but why would I be holding a tray of full drinks.....at parties I'm pretty well known for being the one emptying glasses and bottles at a fairly rapid rate. :D

As a part time/casual job I think I'll stick with them as long as I can work it around my main job, if it stops being a practical option for me or them we'll call it quits - the manager who I'm mostly dealing with seems a decent guy and he's keen to make use of me when he can but keeps stressing that I need to not work too hard and make sure I still have some down time (things I never hear from my management team at the main job!).

Loved the film, although it would have taken something pretty impressively bad for me not to. Once I know my combined rota's for this week I'll try to go see it again with my friend and her mini me.

Combined rota's look scary, thankfully it won't be half as bad as it looks. And I still have one complete day off if I want it!
