I'm now re-evaluating my opinon of you...
Been out this evening and come home with the bike, need to go get some basic tools so I can put the front wheel back on and adjust the seat height. Not to mention lights, helmet, locks and a cover! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

You should always be doing that...scubaangel wrote: »Been out this evening and come home with the bike, need to go get some basic tools so I can put the front wheel back on and adjust the seat height. Not to mention lights, helmet, locks and a cover!
Not still got tools from previous bikes?
Don't forget puncture repair kit.

It's all somewhere at Dad's house so I figure it's easier to buy new ones, as by the time Dad's dug it all out and posted it I suspect my motivation will be waning again (not to mention the cost of posting it all!).
Plus I'd rather like to not be driving a bike around in the back of my car for too long. There's little enough space in there to start with.
There's a Halfords and a couple of bike shops in town, so I think I'll price things up this evening then go and spend money either after work tomorrow or on Wednesday - tomorrow would mean I could attempt to get out and ride Weds if the weather isnt too awful. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Check the weather. It, apparently, is going to snow on Wednesday. Though saying that, it was allegedly going to snow here today as well, and it was a pretty poor effort.
It is sleeting sideways here at the moment, but that doesn't count."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Last forecast I saw has it raining here, most of the week, but no snow thankfully. That said it was bloomin cold this afternoon, the wind has regained its bite. It wasn't raining though which was nice. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Quite a nice afternoon today so went for a run after work my average pace was 20 seconds quicker than the other day - but it was drier underfoot so I felt less likely to fall over.
Withdrawn £19 from paypal as the Perk £10 arrived in the account.
And far more excitingly finally found somewhere I can get the part I need to rebuild my bookcase - stupidly it's cheaper to go instore and buy a pack of 8 than it is to go in to the shop down the road and buy one though.
So tomorrow I will be buying chain, a hefty padlock for said chain, a couple of bike locks, the pack of parts, bike tools, lights and a decent helmet. Am hoping I can pick up some field agent tasks while I'm out and about too. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I misread the online catalogue it was 50 of them not 8.....
I also got bored and failed to buy the chain, locks, tools or helmet. Partly because when looking at the box of tools I realised I had items which closely resemble a few of them in my bedside cabinet at home so though it would be a better idea to check before going out and buying the set.
The plus side is that the bookcase is built and the books unpacked on to it. The bookcase however is full so I need to look for another one to put in the gap between the two I have which is short enough to fit under the stairs. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

A quick wipe down and they'll be good as new...scubaangel wrote: »The plus side is that the bookcase is built and the books unpacked on to it. The bookcase however is full so I need to look for another one to put in the gap between the two I have which is short enough to fit under the stairs.
IKEA it make me happy....
Today, I found out that being 15 miles inland and 230 metres above sea-level puts me at very low risk of coastal flooding.
Isn't that reassuring?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
