No nothing urgent but this'll be the first time I have two consecutive days off since I headed down after Christmas and I've nothing planned to be doing instead yet.

Well parkrun and the pubs don't need 2 consecutive days off, and if they're that rare, you probably should prioritise stuff that does need (or is better with) a "weekend" of time.

So get planning, see if you can stuff as much activity in as possible.

A visit to the local pub should need two days off if you're doing it properly!

You've already scared them by being fearless in the snow. They already know you're a ringer...

    Hmm good point.

Attempted to turn on my phone this morning, there was no response. So I've been out this morning and bought a new one and got my SIM changed.

Currently waiting for icloud to reinstall my apps on to the new handset, happily so far there have been no messages abusive or otherwise from friends. That said maybe I ought to be sad that so few people want to get in touch....

They probably took one look at your Facebook status and decided not to.

Just wait for all the "Yellow Submarine" tunes to come through though.

I decided to go with an iPhone5 16gb, didn't see any point in spending another £150-£200 on the newer models esp when I then spent another £50 on a lightning adaptor so I can use my bedside radio alarm to charge it/play music from it, and a spare charger for in the car. Just need to find a cover now, totally forgot while I was instore with the sales person I was talking to was trying to pursuade me to change my contract - the basic contract has gone down £1, but the data add on has gone up £1.50 if I kept it separate, if I'd gone with the contract offering the same texts/mins/data I'd have been paying 50p a month more than I do already. But as it's out of contract (was a 12 month contract originally) I'll keep it as it is until a better deal comes along with them.

It seems you're not the only one making that determination: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/01/30/cost_savvy_punters_see_fanbois_as_damage_and_route_around_them/

So he was so busy trying to sell you what you didn't want, that he missed a sale on something you did...

    Fail.

Waterproof covers are so bulky though. :/

TBH I don't remember even seeing covers in the shop, I know there's a decent accessory place in town though so will go the long way to work and pay it a visit.

They can do what they want to, as long as they don't try to make me do the same thing!
