Mushroom soup in the slow cooker, had half a pack of mushrooms which were starting to look slightly dodgy, so chucked them and an onion in to the frying pan for a few minutes then the lot in to a litre of stock in the slow cooker, I've got some cream from work to stir in to it when I'm ready to eat it (probably lunch tomorrow) and will most likely eat the rest this week rather than freezing it.

Soup blended and in the fridge ready for tomorrow.

Currently decluttering a bottle of wine out of the fridge.

Small things I want to get rid of are photographed and listed on the local facebook selling sites.

Currently making a list of the DVD's I want to get rid of so I can post those too - so far I'll get about 30p each for them from music magpie or CEX so may as well try the selling sites first, and when I have some motivation I'll try ebaying some.

That's well organised. I'm sure there's a demotivator somewhere which will tell you your lifetime pastie bill if you don't take food in with you.

I'm sure there is but I'm not working tomorrow if I was I'd be eating sandwiches as they have a catered meeting booked. So would save me even more money!

I also wouldn't be drinking the wine as the meeting is an early start.

Woken up for the third day in a row with toothache and a swollen face, managed to get hold of a local dentist who are taking NHS patients and got an appointment on Thursday (it's the first available one) but they've said if they get a cancellation on Wednesday they'll let me know - I'd prefer tomorrow but too busy in work even if they do have a cancellation.

Poor you. :grouphug: - that is rather unpleasant.

You should have had stronger wine - disinfected your whole body... ;)

I hope it's not too bad - waiting three days is no fun.

Its already been three days so another three will just compound my grumpy mood and guest scaring facial expressions. :D

    There's always the alternative...

How are you other than that? Got much unpacking done?

I'm pretty much unpacked, keep rearranging things - last night I shifted the microwave and kettle around but not sure it's helped gain my any extra space on the counters.

Still not found a replacement for that missing screw/bolt so I still need to unpack the bloomin books. But I have started researching freezers but finding that very few of the websites actually tell you if they're suitable to have a fridge stacked on top or not which is annoying since I want to start bulk cooking with the slow cooker again.

Kettle *on* the microwave is the only way that's going to work.

Which one's are your favourites? I'm leaning towards a Leibherr.

I'm making the assumption that provided I'm sensible (i.e. not a Smeg on top of a tiny hotpoint - :rotfl:) then they all can take fridges.
