Hoping to be slightly more ambitious with my target for 2016, will be giving it some thought over the next few weeks.2021 MFW #130. Target: £300/£25000 -

Usually 31st December
I'm sure Lomcevak will be around to record any ops which aren't reported until a week or 2 into January though.0 -
Have just got an up to date mortgage balance and since 31st January we have managed to reduce our mortgage balance through a combination of overpayments and our regular mortgage payments by £10,892.58. Super happy with that and it wouldn't have been possible without signing up to this challenge! Looking forward to the challenge next year to see whether I can beat itNew House... New Mortgage! Hi Lomecevak,
MFW No.148 reporting in with my final OP of the year. Put me down for £500 for December.
That has now exceeded my original target set in January and now also kept me on track to reach my revised target, happy with how this has panned out.
Lomecevak, thanks for running and updating the sheet on a regular basis.
Thanks0 -

A very delinquent #11 reporting in...I remortgaged in August to a fixed rate and the OP schedule went a bit pear-shaped. :eek:
I'm no longer formally OPping, as the interest rate I get on my savings is greater than than of my fixed rate mortgage and I've cranked up the contributions to my share save to take tax advantage of the salary sacrifice.
My new plan is to report general 'savings' rather than OPs as my overall goal is to pay off the mortgage by the point the fixed rate ends in 2019. :beer:
So, for the last few months:
Nov £379
Oct £288
Sept £603
Aug -204:mad::mad::mad::mad:
Here's hoping December will be decent!:oGood, clean fun....MFW #11 2015 £7657 / £88800
