#19 with a last overpayment for 2015 of £184 (for December). Not as much as I would have liked but more than happy to have smashed a few targets during the course of the year due in large part to the continued motivation from this thread.
Thanks as always go to Lomcevak for running this despite being obviously very busy himself!

#28 with a £4000 OP for November. One final push for December. I just want to break through and be under £50k by 31 Dec. One more payday and a fairly frugal Christmas and we're there. I hope.

Spreadsheet updated - well done to everyone making OPs, it's not easy at this time of year ... and MortgageFreeMimi you just took us past the £600k overpayment mark! :T:T:beer:
On a personal note, I've just OP'd £836.27, to bring me exactly to £15,000 overpaid this year. Very happy with that, as my original target was £6k ... then £12k ... and finally a £15k target that I didn't think i'd reach. Mortgage is still huge, but just dropped under the £135k mark so another mini-milestone, and was over £160k at the start of the year. I'd like to get to five figures by the end of 2016 but that may be a bit too hard to get to. But i'll get close0 -
I'll start thinking about the 2016 MFW thread before too long, but before I do wanted to see if anybody else is interested in running it?
I'll happily do it if there are no takers, but I'm aware that I'm away a fair bit with work (less travel in the future, but life's going to be no less busy in other ways) so I'm not always a perfect host0 -
Hi everybody,
Popping on to say hello and to give an update.
I'm been beyond terrible for posting this year as it's been a difficult year however I have tried to keep plugging away at the mortgage.
Conscious overpayments have been 30,000.00, plus Tilly Tidies of 1130.86 has given me a total overpayment figure of 31,130.86 for 2015.
I wanted to highlight the Tilly Tidies as it shows just how those little extras add up.
So, so far this year #137 31130.86GBsterling
I still have my monthly mortgage payment for December to make, plus an identified overpayment is scheduled, plus there'll be a Tilly Tidy in there too so I'll be back with another update at the end of the challenge.
Did I mention the Tilly Tidies? :rotfl:0 -
