Havent made any major overpayments this year.
Have OP'ed at least £20 per month though each month so far.
So say £250 this year.

Hi All
Life has been so hectic, so I am sorry for not keeping in touch.
My OPs since July are:
Aug - 150
Sep - 100
Oct - 175
Nov - 100 currently
Which brings me to £3,550... Having just checked the sums, my daily interest on the mortgage is now... drum rolls... £9.74, instead of when we first got the mortgage to a whopping £12.42 / day!
Umm got some work to try and meet my revised target.... And just in time for Christmas :rotfl:
TTFN and I hope to update again sooner rather than later.

#50 here. I haven't made any further OPs since the last one recorded and am not going to make any further ones now.
I should be MF by October 2016, so am going to top up my Cash ISA this year with the money I would have used on OPs and maybe pay some more into my pension (which seems to be running a bit short). Since it doesn't look like the base rate will change for a while I am better off paying into an ISA than paying off my mortgage (1.25% on my mortgage, between 1.4% and 2.75% on my ISAs)What goes around comes around.....I hope!0 -
#36 reporting in...
November: £0
Had some unexpected expenses, plus our home insurance renews soon as we don't bother saving for that during the year - we just pay it out of our normal saving/OP amount this month.
But, we've already hit our target for 2015 OPs and should OP more in December.0 -

Urrrgghh hard time of the year!
No OP's for me and may not have any for December. Instead of sending OP's away, ive been grouping them in an online account, got £2.5k so far, will prob start sending that over to C&G in new year. Think its wise to have a bit more of a 'back up' fund this time of year!
Congrats to others and the OP's. Looking forward to the 2016 thread xx"Don't underestimate the value of financial security"
