    Their current price per pack
    Mach 3 £6.76
    ProGlide £10.74
    Razor and Blades £26.99

So you've paid 10p for either £67.76, £107.40 or £269.90 worth of goods

That's not a bargain, there's clear intent there.

As for others on HUKD, same thing, if you bought a couple that's taking advantage. Buying bulk, that's a complete mickeytake.

Can honestly see why the retailer has wrote what they have to those who have clearly taken the mick. And they are 'horrified' - imagine if it was your business and you were put in this situation?
Well ok if thats your opinion,it was a glitch and yes i took advantage along with thousands of others, but the email was disgusting considering the seller was wanting me to return the items,im not going to get into a heated debate about this matter as, i bought items at advertised price.and if the seller had been more polite i would have considered refusing delivery.the mistake was not mine but the software companies and im NOT going to be spoken to like that in the email by the seller.as a few disagree regarding glitches/misprices i wont post anymore regarding this matter.

The defensive and rather begrudging way you revealed what you bought I think reveals what you already know - you paid what - 10p? for something worth hundreds of pounds.

Obviously you were trying it on - it's down you your conscience what you do, and the wording of that letter was admittedly awful. But morally you aren't entitled.

This was, to any reasonable interpretation, a misprice and not a bargain.

I'm wondering something...I wonder if Amazon might take action against those that clearly took the mickey... buying one or two things you could be fine, but bulk buying could see hot water.

Afterall, Amazon can choose who to do business with and ban whoever they want. They already do for excessive returns...could get interesting...when the Christmas rush is over of course..

That's pretty much standard behaviour around here.
  • Lots of poeple on their high horses in this thread so I'll keep it simple.
1.No they cannot recharge your card.
2.No they cannot send a debt collection agency... what debt?
    3. Experian would tell them two words, and the 2nd word would be off

In regards to morals, keep the items, half the posters on this thread jump at misprices when its at tescos, asdas etc, but when its amazon sellers, why is it different?

The liability lies on the 3rd party re pricing software the sellers used, which undercuts competitors prices on amazon. It is between the seller and the repricing software that they outsourced the pricing to.

TL;DR, legally they can't do anything.

As a business, I would have learned a stinging hard lesson about trying to cheat business by using 3rd party apps. As a customer I would be thinking on the lines of "I hope you learned your lesson here - cheating can and does backfire occasionally." Under those circumstances your not likely to be covered when it goes belly up.

As for being sympathetic to a company who was only, merely, trying it on with a 3rd party app, I would be laughing all the way to the bank!

Saying it's cheating isn't fact though is it, it's just your opinion, a word you've decided to use to try and justify what you think.

It's software to manage a business just like integrating Paypal into things if you have your own website.

The real cheats here are the ones who try and take advantage of a glitch then run.

Yes its MY and MANY OTHERS opinion, in just so much as you saying its NOT cheating, is merely your opinion.

I am pretty sure such an app is not available by Amazon, moreso that Amazon wont have anything to do with re-reimbursement as a result of using such software speaks volumes to me. In fact much more than just your opinion on the matter. ;).

Do feel free to continue using any other word, to justify what you think. As opinions mean nothing in law. ;)

These also aren't large companies, these are people who will be very small in terms of staff and some will be just a one man/woman band. For many it will be their only source of income. Many will be using that to bring food for their families. Going bankrupt is a real possibility here for some. If you want to go laughing to the bank because of someones misfortune that's up to you. I certainly wouldn't do it myself. It's very obvious who the real cheats are here.
