Hi all,
Another fiver on manflu medicine for DS2
Finally got round to making quiche to use up LO cheese, also making lemon cake as I have some lemons nearing end of life.
Also sold another item on fleabay, all this money is going to pay off my small CC debt, which is zero interest, and as the major retailers says 'every little helps'.Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Goodness it is a horrid day today, 2c out and drizzle. I decided very early on that today I was definitely staying indoors and having a NSD - we need milk but I have some UHT in my little emergency store cupboard so I will use that and replace it later in the week.
Went into Heron yesterday to pick up some of their XSell pizzas (I think they are called that?) - 2 for a £1 and they are really good quality - I bought eight pizzas for £4 and have had to play freezer tetris in order to fit them in!
Popped into Morries on the way home to pick up some baby wipes and timed it just right as they were busy reducing loads of veg down to 19p, bought some broccoli, a couple of cauliflowers, a sprout stick, spring greens, unwaxed lemons.....lots of YS veg. I'm feeling rather smug about my haul! £11.81 spent in total including the Heron shop.
Dinner tonight is Broccoli and stilton soup made from two of the broccoli heads I bought yesterday and the remainder of the Christmas stilton, which I am really looking forward to!Jan NSD 4/15

A total of £16.89 spent in sainsbobs. 2 packs of yoghurt, bread, bananas, peppers, cucumber, tomatoes and a few of the 'world food's bits on offer (i have a weakness for sushi ginger randomly) as well as a few grains and pulses, so should keep us going for a fair while as I do not wish to shop again this week....if we haven't got it, we don't need it!
Also picked up 3 lots of mincemeat for 5p a jar!Crazy Clothes Challenge 2015 20/350
