Good morning, all.
I thought I was done with shopping but I will have to take OH to hospital today and there's an Aldi nearby...First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -

Did my final shop for January yesterday which included all the meat needed for my February meal plan which wasn't already in the freezer. Also cupboards fully stocked again. Spent a bit more than usual at £52.70 but still under budget at £238.12/£250. So a small amount to move into savings for Christmas.
Another NSD today so 20/31 altogether so pleased with that as well.

Hello,
This is a naughty way of equalling out my grocery spend but - I spent £502.77 - but - I sold Welsh Cakes I made for an event - 300 of them for £100 I am therefore claiming January as £402.77 a £2.77 overspend - hopefully better next month as we have a good stock of stuff

Today is a NSD
Yesterday, snow here, so decided to go shopping while still able to get the car out of the road. Also thought we'd go to the eatery close to Mr T while out as had vouchers!
Spent:
£2.76 after using vouchers for 2 mixed grills, 1 peppercorn sauce and 2 cuppas
£72.66 in Mr T, after using vouchers
£2.99 in H0meBarga1ns.
We're on the annual budget plan as it works better for us - total spend of £155.79 so far. Some of yesterday's shopping will go forward to next month. We've still things to use up, so hope to keep the GC spend for February in check.#Life isn't about waiting for the storms to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain #We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us #If you focus on what you have left behind, you will never see what lies ahead - Gusteau/RatatouilleGC 2022: £0/£2,500 total spend0 -

Haven't had to go out today but DH has spent £4.60 in M&* so total has been updated.
Made chocolate brownies to a new recipe but they aren't as nice -less chocolatey - so back to my original Delia recipe in future. May have to use them for pudding, warmed in the microwave with ice cream.
Need to do my last shop of the month tomorrow as low on fruit, veg and cereal.0 -
NSD today
see you all on the Feb thread
Debt free as of 29.10.2020 🎉😁
SPC #73 Feb NSD 0/200 -
Declaring at $386/500 so well pleased.
But I had overstocked as usual for Christmas, so have been trying to run down cupboards and freezers.
In the throes of a drought here, temperatures this time of the year are usually in the mid 20s C, but have reached the low 30s every day last week, so we are longing for a few cooler days. our normally green paddocks are brown and dry, and we will run out of water in 6-8 weeks if it doesn't rain.
Dh is off on his annual major fishing trip, targeting grouper, cod, crays, scallops, paua, so hopefully there will be more variety in the diet when he gets back.
Off to set targets for Feb, have a great day everyone
Cheers
