So will try to clear scorecard £1786.29 by the end of the year. Will be a tough one cos has a high APR but will be worth it
Am not sure how to reply so here's hoping this reaches the thread!!

Hello everybody. Happy New Year. Can I join you again this year please?
Thanks to the wonderfully supportive 2014 thread, I paid off a little over £15000 last year. I'm now down to £4782.47 owing, all of which is at 0% as long as I clear it before December 2015. So that is my target please.Debt free since December 2015. It can be done0 -
Happy New Year Everyone! Lets do this!
Trudi - when are you due? Congrats!
I'm on maternity leave at the moment so your post hit me. I have to say that if anything this year (well, last year now!) I cleared the most debt I ever have. Being on statutory pay means you have to start really looking at where your money goes - and makes you more appreciative of it too. Hopefully it will have the same effect on you!
Having our baby has also made me want to get rid of our debt. I don't want her to be raised in our house thinking debt is OK etc. I also want to think about our future and not have niggles constantly at the back of my mind - or be paying XX% of our monthly income straight to a black hole of debt! Best of luck for your journey!
Hi Pepperoni - Im due next Friday ( the 9th) went on maternity leave from my job on December 1st so naturally am only just getting round to sorting what will be the nursery (its been a boxroom for the last 6 years  !) and SMP will basically halve my monthly income, so Im pretty well panicing about that. If the worst comes to the worst I can go back to work early, but Id really like to stay off as long as possible !
Am hoping that I can find enough things to ebay to cover the bulk of my payments - as long as I can get the minimum sorted Im fine - between me and mum (Im effectively her carer) we can manage the rest we think (we're having quite a lot of fun with the contents of the cupboards/freezer and weve found lots of places to buy cheap veg etc as well - its amazing how long a 25kg bag of potatoes lasts!!! )
Ive got a horse and three dogs - all as kept as cheaply as I can manage it and hopefully she will foal down safely in March and people will fight over it at the sales at the end of the year ( I can dream !!!!)
Im also trying to crack on with my equine nursing certificate while im off (somewhere I have time for a baby Im sure!) because when I pass that in a couple of years I will be on a much better wage (well, a better one - if not much !) and things will be easier again. If I can save this 4000, it will more than cover my basic payments on everything for my maternity leave, so fingers crossed I can manage it.

Hey everyone, do you update on a certain day each week/month or just whenever you've made a payment?
I was trying to have a no spend day today but when I went in Asd@ they had the Bold liquitabs I use on offer at £2.97 instead of £6.77!!! I got 6 tubs of 20 so that should last me a year! :T
I also got some bath and hand towels on offer for £3 and £2 and christmas decorations/wrapping at half price  I bought my sandwich stuff for next week instead of buying my lunches and some fruit/veggies to get healthier as we've all been ill here for over 2 months with different things. We've all been working too hard and I think we're just all run down (oh and my little niece is at nursery and tends to pick up all bugs going!:rotfl:)
Anyway, I hope you all had a lovely New Year _party_0 -
