Well done guys! Lots of payments sneaking in before 2015 starts. The front page should be updated with your totals, and all new members should have new numbers. As ever, please check!
HAPPY NEW YEAR for tonight!!!0 -
Hi there, can I join please? I'm afraid there's no way I can pay off all my debt by christmas but I'd like to pay off at least half. Could you please put me down for £10,000?

Id like to clear £4000 if possible - overall debt is a lot bigger than that, but I reckon with a new baby (due soon) 4k will hopefully be do-able...Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -

I'll get a number assigned to all the newbies tomorrow, as I'm in work until then. I've updated the student loan estimator tool for last month's payment, and my total outstanding is about £5 less than expected. Free money, woop! Sig updated0 -

Trudi - when are you due? Congrats!
I'm on maternity leave at the moment so your post hit me. I have to say that if anything this year (well, last year now!) I cleared the most debt I ever have. Being on statutory pay means you have to start really looking at where your money goes - and makes you more appreciative of it too. Hopefully it will have the same effect on you!
Having our baby has also made me want to get rid of our debt. I don't want her to be raised in our house thinking debt is OK etc. I also want to think about our future and not have niggles constantly at the back of my mind - or be paying XX% of our monthly income straight to a black hole of debt! Best of luck for your journey!- [STRIKE]Credit Card: £2,989 / £2,989[/STRIKE]
- Bank Loan: £12,000 / £14,000
