Wow! Loads of newbies, lots of old bees, and a plethora (I love that word) of payments already. Together, we've already past the £10,000 and it's not even 2015 yet! Well done everyone!
It's a beautiful frosty blue-sky day, there are robins in the trees, and the front page should now be fully up to date. New members should have numbers now, and all payments should be recorded. Let me know if I've made a mistake or inadvertently left you off.
There are far too many posts to reply to individually, but to answer many of the questions in one go... it's completely up to you how you want to use this thread. If you want to give one update at the end of the year, or at the other end of the scale (i.e. you're Fmess :rotfl:) and want to update every day, both are fine. The only rule is that we all support each other.

Oh dear, my obsession with making as many payments as possible has been noticed already
I've got another update for you! (sorry!) I don't think I'll have any more for a while now.

Feels good to finally start paying it off, i'm also decluttering at the moment so my pile for selling is getting bigger by the minute. Unfortunately i've also just discovered some mould, we've had the problem on and off for a few years so looks like i'm going to have to buy a dehumidifier as we have tried the special paint and airing the room. Think i will need to shift some money around or find a BNPL deal.Emergency Fund £0/£500

Well done on the payments guys! Both off the mark.
How about trying something like this before buying a dehumidifier...

Only comes with one tab, but refills are only a fiver and last three months or so. It'll definitely be a lot cheaper than a dehumidifier anyway, and might just do the job.0
