Hi all, I know I am 6 months too late but please can I join? I have £3554.03 I need to pay off. It is going to be a challenge for me as I have very little disposable income. Thanks :)

Finally got through the headache of house buying, and got access to our flat on Friday. I have been living a very frugal few months, but can hopefully allow myself a little extra spending money going forward, although there is always that toss-up of being able to repay sooner. I'll have a look at my finances at the weekend to find a balance if I can.

Hope you're all habing a good weekend!

  • No 003 here reporting... with good and bad news!

I am now only £350 away from meeting my 2015 target which will be paid upon pay day, and even better news is that I could actually be 100% debt free this year which is another £7000 which I wanted to clear by the end of next year. We have our house on the market and from the equity we have we will clear our debts!

However I am a bit annoyed that it has been a stupidly expensive month with things going wrong! All our appliances are integrated and our washing machine has given up so that needs to be replaced, (£250) so the money I have saved for Christmas is now gone.

I also need to work out how to find £360 to pay for our deposit on our legal fees and £545 for the survey on our new house... I may have to drop to min payments on the credit card so I can pay those figures with cash :(

    Bitter sweet!!

These last couple of months have been challenging financially but I'm hoping we are coming out the other end now. Our new flatmate moves in tomorrow and we've bought pretty much everything for the flat that our old flatmates owned.

We've also found a new tenant for our flat in Aberdeen! so no more unbudgeted mortgage payments to add to my spreadsheet.

Hopefully I'll get back to regular large weekly payments soon but for this week it's £65 to CC
