Sixth Anniversary Combo Breaker Debt-free and Proud!
    Evening all,

I've had an expensive May and will be a bit skint in June now after paying for last months holiday - great time had though!

Haven't managed to pay off as much as I wanted to this payday but the total stands at:

    #9 £2927/4683 (62%)

I am liking that percentage figure now being in the 60s :j

    Hope everyone's feeling positive, happy debt-busting :)
    Starting 2016 debt-free :D

I still intend to pay off our debt before christmas but i will be stoozing the payments in our 3x 5% TSB accounts. I will be making minimum payments +£1, then come christmas i will pay off in a lump sum.(hopefully)

for the purposes of this thread (which i love) i will keep my totals as if i had paid it off my debt (rather than stoozing)

I did this for a while and had £4k sat there looking pretty, before deciding it was too dangerous for weak little me! It was making me feel wealthier than I actually am, so I sent it all to pay off debt. If you're stronger willed than me, then go for it.
  • Well done everyone for May payments.

Mortgage payments and loan have gone out so first update of the month:

    £6.099.48/ £10,400 (58.65%)

Very happy with that amount - some of this is mortgage overpayments, which I count as part of my overall debt.

    Good luck everyone in June.

This is very frustrating. I have paid my PPI cheque into the bank and its showing as a deposit but not cleared. I really, really want to pay it towards my debts. Oh well friday is not too long away. I'm looking forward to updating the figures.
